Best travel highchair!
I purchased this highchair for a friend after having one myself for both my kids. Itâs perfect for travel (eating out at a restaurant, family members houses etc), easy to clean, great value considering the price of clunky high chairs on the market and ideal for a small kitchen where a big highchair wouldnât be functional. Not to mention, very safe with the silicone clips. Highly recommend!
Simply the Best
We will never go back to our stand-alone high chair, in fact we got rid of our stand alone as soon as this arrived and we tested it for a week. It’s AMAZING for our lifestyle. Easy install and secure, it’s very sturdy and easy to take off the counter/table. Relatively easy to wash (air dry) and the protector in the front allows my baby to reach forward without pinching skin or fingers.

Great travel chair, Awful for BLW
Initially I loved this chair. It fits our counter great, is lightweight and portable, and I looooved that it didnât have the big footprint of a traditional high chair.After using it as our only high chair, I hate this thing and will be buying a different high chair for our primary one and use this one for travel.Weâre doing baby led weaning, and this thing is an absolute beast to keep clean. The canvas fabric is awful because it doesnât wipe down well. Iâm pretty relaxed about germs and baby, but this thing gets disgusting very quickly. Itâs not difficult to take apart and wash if youâre only doing it once in awhile, but itâs a mega pain when itâs your only high chair, especially since it needs to air dry so youâre stuck without a high chair in the mean time.I did buy the cover, and it didnât fit. Come on guys….you had one job.Iâm also disappointed that the padding under babyâs seat is not removable, so it gets more bunched up each time I wash it. The seat is also increasingly angled forward. So baby is sitting on lumpy padding and not sitting ergonomically at all.On the plus side, it feels sturdy, and Iâll probably keep the seat attached to our counter so baby has a place to sit when Iâm doing dishes/food prep, as well as a travel chair.

Awesome chair! Great for my son to eat at the counter or to help with cooking! Easy to put up and take down without tools. We got some of the black liners so we never have to worry about taking the cover off to wash. We had a problem with a liner and their customer service team took care of it immediately and beyond expectation!! Fantastic product from a great Canadian company. Weâll be getting a second one now that we have twins! Highly recommend!

Perfect perch!
I made this purchase because I developed a hate for my current highchair (been through two kids) and I wanted something with way less of a footprint that was also portable. Then I found this beauty!First of all, the design is gorgeous and is the quality I would expect from Guzzie+Gus. Itâs super sturdy and when I installed it I could lift my entire (very heavy solid wood) dining table with it.Second of all, the shipping was AMAZINGLY fast, like next day fast.10/10 recommend.
We used a traditional high chair for our first kid but when we moved, we really just didn’t have enough space in the kitchen. We eat almost exclusively in the kitchen, so with the second kid we needed to figure something out. We bought this for the island counter and installed it and he lived in it for about a year. It certainly got gross at times, so we removed it, washed it and reinstalled it. When we traveled, we brought it with us as well. I love the heck out of this thing and would recommend it to anyone who is considering it.Of course, when washing make sure to remove the cardboard piece from under the seat when you remove the metal frame, and DON’T PUT IT IN THE DRYER. We followed these rules, let it air dry, and it did great. I still have it at my house in case we have any young visitors.
I like the quick push in release to raise and lower the under mount arms. Then just a couple of twists and it tightens it up. We only use it for going out to eat and our ten month old daughter loves being up at the table and part of the group. Takes up very little space so itâs not in the way of the staff.

Once you get the hang of it, this chair is super handy and it will change your life!1. Unfold the legs and open up the seat.2. Set the “arms” on the table top.3. Press the button to release and extend one of the legs as high as it can reach so that it is touching the table. You may have to get under the table, but it’s fine.4. Twist the knob on top of the leg counterclockwise until the leg, and that side of the chair, is immovable. Remember, “righty tighty, lefty loosey”5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the other leg.6. Adjust as needed.7. Unbuckle and loosen straps before wrangling your baby into the seat.Congratulations! You have just installed this portable booster inside your booth at Carabba’s! You don’t have to worry about damaging the table because the arms have protective rubber grips, which also prevent slipping. This chair is not going anywhere, and neither is your baby-o! The high back is firm and can even support babies who may not have complete control over their bobbly baby heads. The aqua color is bright, and the bottom of the seat is firm. Go ahead, pat it! And since the seat is attached to the table, you can store the diaper bag on the seat! To prevent sliding dishes and contain messes, you purchase the matching silicone placemat. It fits perfectly across the width of the arms. Just place it on the table before attaching the chair. The straps are strong and keep baby from bending forward and smacking his face on the table. The material is breathable so little dude doesn’t get too hot. The chair fits inside standard booths, so you don’t have to put your cutie at the end of the table where a the server will be standing. No more clunky strollers and high chairs in everybody’s way. No more settling for a table when you wanted a booth. No more musical chairs to reach your kiddo. No more worrying about tipping over restaurant high chairs. And best of all, the little fat-cheeked munchkin is right next to you, so he feels like part of the group. I’m giving this 5 stars even though it sadly does not work for our table. We have a big old table with a heavy duty apron all around the outside that falls at just the wrong place so that we can’t attach the Perch either in front of or behind it. Sooo it won’t work for all tables.HOWEVER, my kid LOVES this thing. We attach it to the counter at home so he can watch us cook from a safe distance and we can hand him little scraps to eat. He can also sit in it and play with toys while being contained when I have to do a little bit of work on my laptop at home. We recently took it on a family trip and attached it to Grandma’s table for breakfasts with the family, which was awesome. He really liked being at the table with his cousins and being part of the family. For camping, it was great to quickly put him at the picnic table in his Perch and let his cousins safely entertain him while we set up the tent, porta-crib, etc.I actually wish we’d gotten a Perch before he was even eating solids because half the time we’re just using it to contain him somewhere that he can see what’s going on and be part of the family (even when we’re not eating). With the 5-point harness you could totally put any baby who’s comfortable sitting up in it and feel that they’re secure.We love that it is lightweight, but very sturdy, comfy for our baby, and very portable. We do use it with the silicone tray from the same brand, which came in especially handy for camping. The tray slides right into the carrying case with the chair, so very convenient.
