IΓ’ΒΒm a first time mom and prior to having my son worried about minimizing my contact with microplastics and chemicals. So when baby was born naturally IΓ’ΒΒve taken the same route with items for him. I LOVE that these jars are completely plastic free. They are sturdy, spill proof (so far), and as an added bonus are aesthetically pleasing. Very pleased with this purchase!

1 star is too much, this is criminally low quality for baby food, the glass on the neck randomly broke off after barely any use.Bought the jars and only used them three times so far, so if I randomly picked the same jar twice, maybe it got two uses before being damaged by absolutely nothing.The jar was never frozen, put in a microwave, hit or went through any stress at all. It was cleaned in a well organised dishwasher at the lowest available temperature (55 degrees Celsius) and I sterilized them once when they arrived in the Phillips bottle sterilizer.Put warm food into it today to feed the kid on the go as we were in a bit of a rush for an appointment, and found a small piece of broken glass on the kitchen counter in the evening while cleaning up, eventually matched it to the jar (see photo). Most likely it just broke when the lid was taken off.I really hope no glass got into the baby’s food. I’m incredibly angry, as I’ve intentionally bought these jars as I trusted the brand and wanted to buy something of good quality, since I was afraid of this exact situation. I prefer avoiding plastics, but glass is really messed up when a piece breaks off, so I try to keep with known brands.Honestly thought I was overthinking it, as I’ve had 20 year old jars that have gone through much use and abuse, that some jam, honey or whatever was sold in at a farmer’s market. Apparently, that’s a gold standard in comparison to a product literally purpose-built to feed babies with!

I love the design and practicality of these jars. As a low supplier, i keep my hard-earned breastmilk in them. Now that i started formula preparing, I wish they came in bigger sizes.
