Chest feed bff
I wish I got this sooner, especially in the early days of chest feeding when I got engorged and leaked a lot more.Unlike the silicon pump, the lady bug just barely has a suction. Itâs just enough to stay on you but needs something to secure to you (like nursing bra). That little bit it suction helps get up to an ounce for me sometimes.If youâre like me and have contact naps induced by chest feeding, than this could be super handy. My babe will nurse lightly to sleep during naps and my other side will let down and leak. Since babe is sleeping I canât comfortably alternate (shed fall asleep and not properly drain the other side anyways). She often wakes and nurses again which again, gets the other side to let down and leak. The lady bug catches all of that would-be wasted milk.
This is a perfect Product!
It you just had a baby and your milk is coming in like crazy. This is the best product for you. It is not a pump itâs simply there to catch the milk on the side thatâs not getting nursed by your baby. And itâs wonderful. No more soaked nursing pads while nursing. I got more then 2 oz every time. It has little feet on the bottom which is awsome to be able to put it down and it wonât tip over or anything. Itâs perfect for pouring into a bottle. Has a stopper on the top so that it wonât leak out the top. I really really like this product
Only good for letdown
I bought this thinking it was like my other haakaa product and that I would be able to express with it, but I was mistaken. It’s very nice for catching milk, tucks into the bra decently, but only catches letdown.

I bought these because using disposable nipple pads were irritating my nipples. I also hated that so much milk was getting wasted. I have two of the original Haakaa pumps and love them, so I knew I could trust the brand. These things are so comfortable. I just put my nipple in it and place my bra over it. It holds in place with the support of my bra, leaves enough room for my nipple to BREATHE and catches all of my leaking milk. I’ve been wearing them all day and my nipples are so much more comfortable. It was super easy to drain my collected milk too. No mess. I plan to wear them tonight in bed too, we’ll see how that goes. Apparently, I can also suction them to my breast while breast feeding like the original Haakaa pump. I haven’t tried that yet, but will because it would be less in the way than the original Haakaa while feeding my baby. I don’t see myself wearing these out in public for any significant length of time because they’re pretty visible through clothing. But walking around the neighborhood with my dogs and baby…hell yes.
Decent
I have both the shell and the original Haakaa. I first purchased the shell because I liked the idea of it sitting in a bra nicely and being out of the way while still collecting milk while breastfeeding. It is comfy although the suction is very very poor. I purchased the original Haakaa to compare the two. Out of both, I enjoy the original better because I collect a lot more milk because the suction is a lot more powerful although it is a lot less discreet and not as comfy as the shell. Just depends on what you want!
Will never go back to anything else.
This is the ultimate breast milk collector. The suction is strong without being painful, and holds a lot of milk. I especially like the hole in the top to ensure no spilling. It also has two little “feet” at the bottom so you can prop it up on a bedside table, or a counter top. It’s easy to clean and has been a lifesaver in my breastfeeding journey!
Wish I had this with my first born
Loved these for catching letdown while nursing in the early postpartum period when I leaked a lot.Lots of saved breast milk without the extra time/effort and I love that I could slide it into my bra when others were around.The stand-alone design with the little âfeetâ is great also, but my 3-year old still managed to knock it over a few times !They definitely helped relieve a little engorgement In the early days so I could avoid using an actual breast pump and my milk could regulate better to babyâs needs. but I wouldnât rely on this to be my only method of milk expression as the suction isnât quite strong enough.
Wouldnât suction
Got this to make it easier to capture let-down while breastfeeding (baby kept knocking the other design so it would fall off). Unfortunately the ladybug wonât suction to my breast. Perhaps my breasts are too small despite engorgement, but at least the traditional long shaped one always works.Either the ladybug I got sent is a dud, or one size does not fit all.
Etwas abgeschreckt von dem Preis bestellte ich die Milchauffangschale dann doch, weil eine Freundin so von ihr schwärmte. Und ich muss sagen: sie ist super. Läuft nicht aus, ist weich an der Brust und das Material scheint hochwertig zu sein. So häufig, wie man stillt, ist es den Preis doch wert und bei einem starken Milchfluss die Rettung für die eigene Kleidung.

I like this product better than the original hakaa. No pain to the breast and fits easily in a bra. Best passive milk harvesting device ever
I would leak from the opposite side anytime I fed my baby. I was constantly holding bottles to catch the drips at night as it wasted so much milk if I didnât but I would drift off to sleep and end up letting the bottle slip and milk spill everywhere! This product was a life changer! Worked a dream and easy to use and clean! I did have to use it under a bra as it would sometimes slip off, especially if becoming heavy with milk, but that was easy to do. Would 100% recommend.
