Easy to latch
My baby is 3 weeks old and Iâve been pumping ever since, I tried to nurse her but itâs too painful, until I found this product, she latches easily and my milk supply has increased a lot!!!! 10/10

Works great for me!
My son’s tongue is somewhat short (but not tongue tied) and my nipples are on the flatter side. The combination made him really dislike breastfeeding and I could never get him to breastfeed for any longer than 5 minutes tops. We tried this for the first time today and it worked awesome! Hopefully this means less bottle washing/sterilizing and less pumping!!

My baby had a high palette and couldnât breastfeed even with a normal nipple shield for 3 months. Lactation consultants, lip tie surgery, fancy shields- nothing worked. This was my last resort, and it magically worked. Not only did he take to it immediately, but he was even able to do away with the shield and go to straight breast after a couple feedings. I think this is one of those things that works great for some people and not at all for others. Donât be scared by the bad reviews- itâs worth a shot!

Make it easy for those baby who donât take breast
I would love to this more than 5 stars!! This has made it so easy to nurse after trying light weight (flimsy) guards! The seduction is easy to do one handed, some times does take a couple or tries and may spill some milk but over all way easier in my opinion! The long bottle like nipple shape helped with larger breast because the babies mouth is clear in view and provides some ease as a first time mom learning how to breast feed! Super easy to clean and sanitize! I find it very comfortable to wear even with sore nipples the guard provided protection from babies mouth. Suction is great and helps babies they are as motivated to work for the milk! I was able to nurse my baby after a month of pumping and bottle feeding and failed nursing! Amazing amazing!!!
My son was very frustrated with breast feeding and had difficulty latching and getting milk to flow when we were trying to use the Madela nipple shield. This was my last ditch effort as I was skeptical of this product at first glance. Iâm so glad I decided to give it a try because it works so well for him! So far after receiving it in the mail today he has nursed four times until full which has pretty much never happened and he is 6 weeks old. I recommend this nipple shield for babies that do not have success using the smaller nipple shields. My son was introduced to bottles first due to complications at birth and not being able to eat orally for the first couple weeks of his life. This nipple shield is more like a bottle and he understands how to latch without becoming frustrated or confused. It also does not fall off like the other nipple shields and is comfortable to use. If you are thinking about it, give it a shot. Itâs worth the money for something that actually works and helps baby plus a little freedom for mom from having to pump all day..
First there is no suction I can’t get it suctioned at all and it is like a half oz you have to fill the nipple with in order to even attempt to start using it for me I filled it then my baby sucked out what was in the nipple and started sucking on air I’m fairly certain that is not how this is supposed to work because I sat there hand expressing into the tip of this thing multiple times trying different ways to get this to work and it just doesn’t All it did is make my baby mad and swallow a bunch of air. I’m so mad and frustrated because I already have a baby why doesn’t want to go back to breast now I’ve got one that swallowed a bunch of air trying to use this. The only part that’s not horrible is the dinky cheesy nipple shield that’s is almost identical to Medela like to the point of unless you’re baby is severely choking on your supply just go with Medela they look almost identical the holes are just a little bit smaller. Also it is smaller than 20mm nipple shield from Medela. And if you want to try that nipple shield I think they are almost half the cost. I’m mad and disappointed in what I got.
So think of this sheild as having 2 parts: one extra large (24mm) chamber for your nipple and one narrow tip for the baby to drink from. If you have a nipple that stays in the chamber- you’re golden. This product will be amazing for you. But if you have a longer or stretchier nipple, your nip will get sucked up into the narrow part of the apparatus & it will be 10x worse pain than if you just went without the sheild. Not only will it be squished into the tip but the tip will be in prime chomping territory in the front of your baby’s mouth. Excruciating. I tried this sheild with and without a flange inserted to try to make it the right size for me, but I am just unlucky & this absolutely does not work for me.
My baby is 2 weeks old and has trouble latching due to me having flatter nipples. I was discouraged and thought I wasn’t going to be able to breastfeed and would exclusively pump. After reading so many mixed reviews about the HAAKA nipple shield , I figured this would be my last try before I give up . The shield comes and a nice container to store it in with an additional nipple shield. The suction is pretty good after you get the hang of it … and most importantly by baby fed from the breast without any issues ! I feel so relieved!
