Easy to use
Way easier to use than expected, had to get when baby was first born and was having trouble latching! Super useful to this day.
Not what I expected
I tried different times but the small size of the silicon shield made it difficult to feed the baby. Last time I tried she almost chocked with it. Maybe it is me but the shield didn’t stick on.
I wanted to give these a try as an alternative to the Lansinoh Contact Nipple Shields. My son does not latch, and the Lansinoh ones the size of the nipple is too wide for him. The Haakaa ones are very nice. For my experience, they have made it much easier for my baby to latch and feed effectivelyâ¦. I really want to try the Butterfly Shaped one next. I recommend to give it a try. They are nice, and love the case.
I love these
It has cleaned well with mild, soapy water. The holes are a little smaller than the Momcozy, which works better for my flow. Allows for a better latch for those of us with nipples less conducive for natural breastfeeding. I had this side by side with the Momcozy one as their shape is a little different and the Haakaa feels like a slightly thicker material. That being said, it is still thin and you get a close feel with baby. The nose cutout on this one is not as pronounced as the Momcozy one, but that was not a problem.
These shields are perfect! They fit well and are super comfy. They are helping me a lot during this journey!
The product itself was fine, but it was incorrectly sized, fitting smaller. I have the nipple shield from Medela as a 24mm as well and this one was a good bit smaller than that, causing pain with feeding. Not sure if their’s runs smaller or if the wrong size was put in the box, which showed the correct size, but I couldn’t use it.
