  1. Remote robot
It’s lots of fun family time to build this little robot .A lot of fun to operate .

  2. Flexible control and programming options, but noisy
This is a neat STEM construction set that is compatible with that other brand of “technical” building blocks. This means that you can start by building one of the five robots described in the colourful instructions, and later expand with other blocks to build bigger and more complex creations. The heart of this kit is the black motor box, which measures about 1″x2″x4″ and is powered by an internal battery. A USB-A to 5V adapter is included to charge the battery. The box contains all of the controller smarts, a speaker, two geared motor outputs for wheels, and 3 output connections for the two LED dot matrix “eyes”. (One of these connectors is not used – maybe it’s possible to get other outputs or sensors?) There’s a tiny toggle switch for the box power, and a pushbutton switch to toggle the audio on/off.The included remote control operates on 2 AA batteries, not included. To open the battery door, you must unscrew it, and a tiny Phillips screwdriver is included. You can use this controller to operate your robot creations like a radio-controlled car, driving its two wheels forward, backward, or driving them in different directions to cause the robot to turn or spin. Those two dot matrix eyes add some fun expressivity to your creation as they look around, blink, and react when the motors are activated. You can also download the iM.Master app and control the robot using a Bluetooth connection with your phone, where you can use the phone as a glorified remote control in multiple modes (joystick, steering wheel, gyro), or, more interestingly, you can create block-based programs for the robot to execute. The program blocks include driving, turning, waiting, repeating, and causing sound effects to be played through your phone, in addition to the sound effects coming out of the speaker on the robot. Even more clever are pages to calibrate the turning power/time to output angle, so you can draw a path on your phone and watch your robot attempt to follow it. Trajectory-based path planning on a toy robot for kids? Yes!There is one feature I need to call attention to. Your robot will not keep quiet unless you press the mute button on the control box. Otherwise, it will beep, boop, meow, and screech constantly. This gets less endearing the longer it goes on, so be prepared to hit that mute switch every time you turn the robot on. Unfortunately there is no volume control. The rest of the 433 pieces are standard building block fare, with colourful pieces, connection pins, gears, wheels, and large size tank treads so you can build different variations of a tank based robot with eyes.Overall this is a fun kit and the phone app adds a ton of learning and play value. Just be ready for the noise!

  3. Conforme à la description
Cadeau de Noël à mon petit fils de 10 ans. Il l’a construit le lendemain matin qu’il l’a reçu. Il l’adore , il s’amuse à le faire rouler avec la télé commande.

  4. We love this little robot.
We love this little robot. It is just so cute! The quality of the bricks in this set is really good. This is close to the name brand but significantly cheaper. The motor block is good quality and the internal gearing is well thought out – you can direct drive your wheels/treads without issue unlike other brands. The pieces snap together nicely. The pins aren’t quite as high quality as the name brand ones but they have good clutch. What really impressed us was the consistency of the pieces. The fit and finish of the pieces in this set are great, you won’t find any issues here with pins barely fitting in one hole but falling out of the hole beside it. The colours are very different from the usual different shades of grey. What we love the most about this set, however, is the personality of the different builds. The set doesn’t just come with motors, it also comes with these eye pieces that react to the inputs to the robot. They make such a difference in how the kids perceive the set. Out kids aren’t really into building tanks, but they love the little rock-and-roll robot. They like the truck because it has a bed which works great with their “delivery” service.

  5. Excellent STEM building kit to keep older kids engaged
I love this robot kit for older kids. It comes in pieces and you can build 5 different figures, very much geared toward STEM activity. It comes with good intructions, and once you have built a figure there is a remote control and an app for your phone. Batteries are included and are rechargeable, and you can spend hours just working on the builds. The pieces are well constructed and go together smoothly with no issues, and interesting enough to keep a 12 year old boy occupied for hours and days. When he completes each model, he sends a couple days playing with it doing manouvers going around the house while it makes its robot noises. It it totally consumed him and that is a big deal. This is a great item for any kid that is interested in building things or in remote control toys. Definitely a great gift and highly recommended!

  6. This is not just a toy, but a tool. It’s a great way of engaging children in learning, while also having fun but it doesn’t stop there, it’s a great experience for parents to share in as well. This kept myself, my teenage son and my 5 year old nephew engaged for a few hours at a family get together. That is saying a lot when attention spans seem to keep getting shorter. The kit is well built with clear instructions that are easy to follow. My son is already looking into related items. I think we started something here. Very nice!

  7. This makes for a nice gift for a tween/ teenage kid. Its pretty straightforward with the steps to build this. This makes for a great project to keep them busy but also teaches at the same time.

  8. This kit brought something special to our home—a chance to learn coding in a hands-on, playful way. My kids were eager to try out the app and explore its different features. I was impressed by how intuitive it was, making it easy for them to navigate and experiment. Building the robot was more than just putting pieces together—it felt like a creative adventure. Each step introduced new challenges that kept my kids engaged. The variety of models to choose from added a sense of excitement, as they debated which one to build first. They decided on a robot with expressive eyes, and seeing it come alive was rewarding for everyone. The coolest thing was witnessing how diverse everyone’s perspectives were. My youngest was focused on selecting the robot’s attributes, while my oldest was in charge of the instructions. Even I got involved, assisting with some of the more difficult connections. It felt like a collaborative endeavor, and we were all proud of the finished robot.

  9. This STEM building toy is a fantastic way to engage children in learning and creativity! It’s wonderful that it combines the fun of building with the excitement of creating a functional robot companion. The “Wall-E” vibes add to its charm, and the educational aspect makes it a valuable tool for developing problem-solving skills and fostering an interest in STEM fields. The fact that your child built it themselves adds a sense of ownership and pride, encouraging careful handling and a deeper connection with the toy. The ability to control the robot further enhances engagement and provides a rewarding experience. These STEM-based toys offer a wonderful blend of education and entertainment, sparking curiosity and fostering a love of learning. It’s exciting to see how these toys inspire children to explore their creativity and build their own unique creations.

  10. Great stem kit for kids. My son loves it and he enjoyed building it.
