The HALO SleepSackSwaddle replaces loose blankets in the crib that can cover your baby’s face and interfere with breathing. In addition to helping your baby sleep safer, it helps him sleep better, too. Its adjustable swaddle wrap immobilizes your baby’s arms to prevent the “Moro” or startle reflex. And, it is the only 3-way adjustable swaddle that adjusts to your baby’s sleep style. Swaddle arms in, hands-to-face for self-soothing, one or both arms out to ensure baby’s best sleep and an easy and gentle transition to the SleepSack wearable blanket when it is time to stop swaddling. Used in hospitals nationwide, the Halo SleepSack Swaddle is the #1 choice of hospitals and is recognized as “Hip Healthy” by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. Its strong adjustable fasteners ensure a perfect fit and resist breakouts for more secure swaddling. Plus, its innovative zipper unzips from the bottom allowing your baby to stay swaddled for easy diaper changes. A portion of each SleepSack Swaddle you purchase will go to support non-profit organizations like First Candle/SIDS Alliance.

Warm and comfy
Really great product, too expensive for no reason though
This is the best item for babies. I really like the material it keeps babies warm in winter nights and easy to swaddle. Color is pretty. Must have.
Honestly I didnât try it yet, baby is coming in 3 weeks but I must say, Iâve heard GREAT things about this and my American friends recommended it to me and websites, they give it to them at the hospital. I LOVE the quality and material, I washed it and wash surprised how quickly it dried because itâs thick and fleece. Impressed so far! Canât wait to use it on my babygirl. Definitely worth the buy and price. I have a strong feeling she will love it! Specially because sheâs a winter baby.
I highly recommend the HALO sleepsack swaddle. Every new parent should have one in newborn size. Get it before he or she arrives, so you save yourself a trip to the store in those first few days! For the 2 days in the hospital and the first night at home, we swaddled our little girl in receiving blankets (tried waffle weave, thin & stretchy, thick & strong types of blankets). Well wrapping her in blankets didn’t last long because she got out of them, and with her arms flailing she kept waking herself up. Not to mention, I lost sleep worrying if the suddenly loose blanket would suffocate her. After the 1st night at home, we stopped by Babies R Us and bought 3 different brands of sleep sacks. We ended up trying this Halo Swaddle Sleep sack, and the Summer Infant one (We didn’t even try the swaddlepod. Just looked scary, so we returned it).Well the Summer Infant swaddler was really cute. It worked for the first little bit, but when she got *a little* bigger (like a few weeks), the velcro stopped holding. Either she got too big, or after a few times in the wash the velcro became useless. I think it’s a combination of both.As for the HALO Swaddle, she has been using it every day and night. My quicktake on the item:SIDS prevention: I have NO concern with this item, no more than any other general concern I feel for my baby all of the time anyway. Yes, sometimes she is able to loosen the tight wrap a bit, and it comes up above her mouth. However…this can happen with any sleepsack or receiving blanket. Plus, if it’s coming up a little higher then it is looser. It’s not tight over her mouth (as some reviewers have claimed)Our own sleep: Every once in a while, my husband thought he’d wrap her in a receiving blanket…he’s incredible at swaddling, but she could get out in 10 minutes. We have never had better sleep than with this product. It is rare that she can get out of it. This is a baby that kicks and flails constantly.Appearance/fabric: The fleece factor is not my favorite. If you have ever owned a fleece jacket, you will know that it attracts every hair, fuzzball, what-have-you in the vicinity. It’s also quite warm. Obviously we have AC, but during the hot hot summer we kept her in tshirts + sleepsack. For this reason, I didn’t always feel comfortable putting her in her cute footie pajamas. Now that we’re hitting fall, i am able to put her in regular pajamas when using the sleepsackSize: She was born 7’2″ and 20 inches. The newborn size lasted us till now at 10 weeks. She is currently 10’2″ and 22 inches. I am back to order the small size because her feet are about to hit the bottom of the blanket.Quality of velcro: It has been through several washes, and I see no difference in the velcro’s ability to hold. Unlike the summerinfant brand. We always try to remember to close the velcro before washing.Other reviews: (1) mention of loops in front – I don’t see these 2) claims about losing teeth? – I have no idea how this would happen. The zipper starts at the top and comes down so the pull-tab ends at her feet, so how a baby could cut her teeth on the zipper I don’t know. Many pajamas have zippers so I don’t know how this is any different.
I am a retired postpartum doula and I have a passing acquaintance with every swaddle made. Halo was/is my favorite above all. Easy to get a sleeping baby in and out of. Lots of hip and leg room to keep the pediatrician happy. Easy to transition with when baby is outgrowing the swaddle but still needs the warmth of an extra layer. Long wearing. I used to gift all my new babies with them. I simply cannot say enough good things!
Our little girl refuses to sleep unless sheâs in a sleep sack. This one is really soft and comes clean easily in the washer. Love the heavy duty zipper to keep her bundled up all night. Itâs not too heavy or thin, perfect for a house with A/C in the summer
