I was warned that this item required a subscription to access features. What I found was that the most basic features DO NOT require a subscription (simple music and sounds, lights, etc). I read online after extensive research that this machine does not work if you are not connected to wifi – this was a concern as we bought this version specifically to use even when our power goes out (which happens a lot) – we were able to test that theory and I am happy to report that if you have a sequence setup, it will work even without wifii – as long as the battery is charged.Sound quality is unmatched – the sounds and music is so clear and not grainy like other machines.The light is adjustable in color and brightness – perfect to set a specific color for your babie’s room.I have not subscribed yet, but I appreciate that they have different features for different ages; this machine really grows with your child. My 5 year old does not like the sound of lullabies (makes her sad), the hatch offers different sounds and music for her age group. My baby enjoys the lullabies.
Best for babies and toddlers
This works like magic – when my granddaughter hears the music she knows itâs bedtime – no arguments or stalling. She loves the light and the different sounds. Best Buy!

I love that this is app controlled so I can set it from anywhere in the house. The light is great for middle of night feeds with baby I can turn it up without having to turn on a lamp and wake up baby this gives off enough light.
Sound stops working
This was such a great product when it worked.When I first bought it, the brown noise sounded tinny and didn’t get very loud, it crackled. But the white noise worked properly so I continued to use it, I bought this back in October. As of yesterday December 21st, all noise stopped working. Every sound, sounds tinny and doesn’t play to the full volume anymore. I do not recommend this product.

Love the base
Love the fact that it has a base and you can take just the unit for short trips because it has a battery. The different light settings are great, and my daughter loves touching the ring to turn the noise on before bed. Be careful with the plug though, if itâs bent it will stop working and they arenât cheap to replace.

I was unsure about ordering due to other reviews, but I havenât had any problems with connectivity. We have used the white noise, storytelling before bed and the lullabies (spanish ones too) and my toddler loves it!

I loved the Hatch Rest + so much I bought two! I purchased my first a few months back for my older two children and ended up using it during power outages for my babyâs nap time. I love the peace of mind of having back up during storms or outages. Totally worth it for that feature alone. Sound quality is beautiful. Brown noise is the best sound. I wish the extra features didnât require a subscription though. One thing I also wish it had is a projector to put stars on the ceiling. I also have the Fisher Price sound machines and love that feature. All in all Iâm very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it for babies and children!

My first review after thousands of purchases because I’ve never been so infuriated.Mixed reviews on this product, I went for it. Don’t bother, find something else. Cheap trash that will not connect to your WiFi even if it is right next to it.Get something from the UK, this is just US garbage they flog at high price but spend nothing making them. We had 2 separate machines for noise and light before getting the Hatch+. While it may be a little more cumbersome to change the settings through the app, the scheduling function works very well and has been hands off since the day I set it.You don’t have the sign up for the premium. Everything you need is already free. Oh, the free story was terrible. “Nightime at the Zoo” is just a collection of un-funny puns read by an old man some aspiring comedian couldn’t find work and got hired to be a VO artist. Make the ONE FREE THING good and people will want more.
Aunque tengo conexión a wifi, muchas veces el aparato se apaga en las noches porque âperdió conexiónâ, lo tengo que resetear y vuelve a funcionar pero mi bebé ya se despertóâ¦Demasiado caro para lo que es, no lo recomiendo. El punto es que te ayude a que tu bebé duerma y en mi caso pasa lo opuesto, sin razón el aparato deja de funcionar y despierta a mi bebé.
