Much bigger than what I thought but I also didnât pay attention to the measurements. Works perfectly for what I need from time will tell as my gate in in high winds. But I think it will hold up well
Nice, heavy duty lock
This lock is for our outdoor backyard gate. It is a nice heavy duty lock. It keeps our large dog secure in the yard. I definitely like that it come with a pull string. This lets our children be able to enter the backyard with having to reach over it.
Heavy duty gate latch
The gate latch is well thought out. 90 degree angle on the bar is a limit stop. All pieces are a heavier gauge metal. Latch is heavy enough to fall back into lock position. A little leftover piece of the wire will also act as a spring help return the wire to the closed position. Bar support also is well made. All in all worth the money for a gate latch.
best gatelatch ever
This is the best. have used many latches in the past, this one stays strong and does not loosen up due to the number of screw holes. Would get this one again!

The latch is a little loose and new itâs hard to latch until some of the paint wears off the bar but locks as it should

Easy to install, good quality
I am impressed. I just replaced my fence and added a larger 7 foot long gate. I also have very large dogs so I was worried if this would be big enough. It filled the bill perfectly. This is not only cheap but is also large, well built, and heavy duty. I worry about my dogs getting out and didn’t want this to be a week point and it is not. Also I drilled a hole in my post just above the latch and fed the cable through. It works great and I can open the gate from both sides. I was surprised that the cable was long enough because I have 4×4 posts with 2×4’s going across both side and added pickets to both sides of the fence along side the gate. I did this to make it more sturdy and to keep my dogs from finding a way to break out. The cable was long enough and everything functions well and looks nice to boot.
