Look changed so I was confused at first, but this stuff is the balm! Pun intended
My daughter has had sensitive skin since birth. She has flare ups on and off, and this balm has been the best soothing, calming and hydrating treatment to put on her before her diaper. I use it on her skin for other issues as well, sometimes even on myself, it feels great and works wonders!
Helps with cradle cap!!
I started using it to help slough off my boys cradle cap scales. Really helpful for that. Also for dry skin. Very soothing.
Great Vaseline substitute
We bought this to try as a substitute for Vaseline as a more natural alternative. It works great! However, I would like a more natural product than this and resorted to making our own baby lotion which we use more but it you want a thick paste like Vaseline then I would recommend this product instead of the regular petroleum stuff.
Love It
Love the ingredient list, the balm is a bit liquidy, but I use it whenever I have a skin flare ups on my face, which helps soothe it
Amazing
This stuff is amazing!!!! Specially if your little one has dry skin it will moisturize their skin instantly! Canât live without it!
Love it!
This product is super good to have on hand just incase its ever needed! I find it is very moisturizing
Works wonders!
This stuff works great! I had gotten a really bad burn and as soon as I started to use this– the healing began! I had been using polysporin which was helping, but this balm gave it the edge it needed to heal. While it does feel a bit greasy- it seems to absorb pretty quickly. The balm (I find) isn’t as “solid” as say, Vaseline. It’s a like a runnier Vaseline.I was actually turned onto this by Kristen Bell (owner of Hello Bello with husband, Dax Shepard). I follow her on social media and she had posted about a really bad burn she got on her hand. I hadn’t heard of this balm and really needed something for my own burn. (It was so painful!) I thought it was worth a shot and am glad I did!
Use within a few months
I love this formula. We’ve used it forever, and I love that it can be used for both skin and cloth diapering. However, it can be runny in the warmer months because coconut oil is so high on its ingredient list. I would give it 5 stars if it weren’t for one major issue: it has nothing in its formula to prevent it from cultivating bacteria. My daughter has very sensitive skin and we use cloth diapers. We gave the ointment to the daycare and all was fine for a long time, but she ended up with a bacterial infection in her diaper area and we noticed that every time we applied this product after having been open for months the rash would just come back. This never happened before in all the time we’ve used the product so we suspect that since there’s no bacteria-staving agent in the formula, the germs built up and caused the rash we’ve been battling for weeks.I would recommend either adding a toss-after date or an expiration date. There may already be one, but I wasn’t able to see it on the tubes we own.
