This cartoon nonslip tub mat is a great way to help prevent slips and falls in the tub. It is very easy to install, simply clean the tub down and make sure there is a bit of water this will help the suction cups. I simply used my feet to step it down and just like that it was in place.This is great for all ages from baby to adult. This will not only protect the bottom of your tub but it will help provide traction. The best bonus is this can be machine-washed to prevent germs and bacteria from building up on the mat. Making it an easy unit to keep in good condition. The suction cups are quite strong and hold very well. We have had this in the tub for a few days now and it hasn’t moved or slid around.

Small
This non slip bath mat is rather small for a standard size tub. The top of the mat has a cut out for the drain, so lining this mat up with the drain, there was still a significant area at the foot of the tub that is left uncovered (the design of our bathroom has us stepping into the tub at the foot). This defeats the purpose of this mat as usually it’s first stepping into a wet tub that could cause a slip and fall. I also do not like the many suction cups underneath the mat that secures it to the tub. The water will never fully drain out of the tub because of the suction cups and inevitably mold will develop around each one of those little suction cups. Lastly, the design is cute but definitely geared towards children. As an adult it’s a little too much for us to have in our tub, and also don’t want to deal with the cleaning of the suction cups over time.
Playful, Perfect Sized Bathtub Mat!
I was unsure how my grandsons would feel when it was time to get rid of our old bathtub mat; I didnât know whether they still wanted a âfunâ mat or whether a simple, plain coloured one would be fine. When we asked them what they thought, they said that a new mat would be fine but could it please have sharks or dolphins on it like our old one.So, in the end, this is the bathtub mat we chose. My wife was extremely pleased with the length of the new mat; at forty inches long, it permits our grandsons to both sit on it while facing each other in the tub. The colours and pictures on the mat are splendid and instantly appealed to the boys; it has a playful realism that is perfect for toddlers. It would have been nice if the pictures had been arranged so that they could be appreciated from both ends of the tub though I realize this would have been difficult.The construction of the bathmat is excellent. The PVC it is constructed from is heavy, flexible, and tacky. The suction cups on the back adhere nicely to the tub floor and, when drying, to the surrounding tile wall. The âbubblesâ on the top of the mat give it a bit of contour which, when combined with the tacky rubber provide a decent grip when standing. The mat has a cut out portion for positioning around the drain.This bathmat provides a safe, fun bathtub experience. Young (and old) bathers can incorporate the animals on the mat into their play and enjoy the colourful seascape. This is another great way to make bath time fun time! Highly recommended!
Adults deserve pretty things too
I’m not entirely sure why this is advertised as a mat for kids. I checked the measurements before buying it, and it’s perfect for my soaking bathtub. I thought surely once I get it, I’ll see some reason adults can’t use it. But no, I’m still mystified by this.I love the vivid colors and the 3D effect. Is this what makes it a children’s item? Are adults supposed to stick with dour, boring black-and-white stuff? Not these adults!The suction cups on the bottom are very good, robust quality, not likely to break off any time soon. Each suction cup is sunk into a little pocket, so it’s a good idea to press it down a little to secure it. The mat itself is quite thick and durable, but at the same time very flexible and easy to adjust. It also feels nice against the feet. It’s extra long, covering most of the length of our (adult!) bathtub.And I love that it’s washing machine safe, though I haven’t tried to launder it yet. All our previous mats would get mouldy eventually because all we could do to clean them was rinse them off. But with regular laundering, this one should stay nice and fresh for years.
