Perfect sound machine
I used this during a week long camping trip because I like fan noises while I sleep lol!! And this was perfect and the battery lasted all week!

Works well. Great size, doesn’t take up much room. Can easily throw in diaper bag for naps elsewhere or travelling. Was using an app on the iPad with wifi turned off because couldn’t find a white noise machine that didn’t have an auto shut off after 45 mins. The volume from 1 to 2 is a good amount, then it jumps a bit too high at 3. We keep it at 2 for bedtime all night to drown out noises from the kitchen or my older daughter’s voice in the hallway when she’s getting ready for bed. Sometimes when we are entertaining, we put it to 3. Bought a second one for my mom’s house when she’s babysitting and baby takes a nap there in the playpen. Have had for a few weeks now, use all night long and for two naps a day, batteries still going.
Works well but battery life is not too great.
You get what you pay for. I bought it for $16.99 and for 2,3 months only so it worked good for me. t is easy to carry, volume is upto the mark but the only problem is if you use it full night, the battery (it takes 2 batteries) will last only for 3 to 5 nights. But for temporary purpose, it is nice if you get it in reasonable price.
Donât waste your money on Homedics
I bought this machine based on the price point. When I purchased it I didnât realize it needed triple A batteries and you had to unscrew it at the back. Fine. No big deal. Then when I tried to turn the machine on, it only worked once. Wasnât an issue with the batteries. The machine didnt with! Also no instructions came with the product, I had to look it up online. There are better sound and sleep ð¤ machines on the market. Donât waste your time or money with this one.

Product was just the right size only thing is the rain sounds weird on it sounds like its coming from a tap with someone’s hands running under the water
Go big!
I waffled between this model and the slightly larger one for awhile and ended up buying this first. The product itself is fine and it works alright for a nap at grandmaâs, for example, but I donât find it very nice for an every day or all night purpose. It sounds like itâs coming from a small, portable speaker, so donât expect anything more. The sounds are a bit âtinnyâ and to be honest I worry about blowing the speaker because to get any real use out of it, you need to have it up fairly loud. Quality is very nice, and itâs simple and easy to use. I ended up buying the larger model as well and MUCH prefer that one. I wish I had spent the extra $10 and got another one of those than this model, as that one has more and nicer sound options, and can be used without being plugged in, which is a make it or break it option for me. Overall, I would recommend the other model, but this will be alright as a backup.
Relax your baby
I use it to relax my 3 month old baby before bed and during fussy periods. She loves the rain sound especially. I turn it off before she actually falls asleep so she doesnt become dependent on it. I find that if I keep it on and she falls asleep, the moment I turn it off she wakes up. I do however keep it on during desperate times of needing a nap because she’s fighting to fall asleep. Although you can look up sounds on YouTube, I find this works better and is more convenient. Good buy forsure.
Better than the 45$ Hush sound machine…
I have been debating on purchasing this sound machine for my baby for a few weeks. I was about to bite the bullet and purchase the Hush by Dohm sound machine that everyone on YouTube raves about. However, on Amazon, the Hush had some pretty mixed reviews so I thought I’d just buy this Homedics one instead. So glad I did!! My big concern was would it be loud enough for my baby to use when out shopping, walk, restaurant etc. It is much loaded than my Samsung Galaxy S9+ I normally use to play whitenoise from an app. WAY LOUDER which is awesome. It still is soft enough to use nightly in the nursery.Also love it runs on batteries instead of having to charge it every 12h… no new mom has time to remember to charge the battery.If you are looking for a white moose machine for the nursery, as well as travel…. get this one!
Helps you fall asleep faster and stay asleep even with outside noises. Sleep experts recommend white noise during sleep. Just make sure you use rechargeable AAA batteries as these will chew through 3 AAA batteries in just 2 nights. This cannot be used with a USB charger or wall outlet. Just batteries.

Needs new batteries every 3 days with not much use also. The volume is also very soft, can barely hear it. Not worth the money, as putting 3 new batteries every 3 days adds massively to the cost!
Nice ambient sounds, Quality ones. Perfect for ensuring my baby sleeps well in the busy neighbourhood with lots of noises, It helps us to fall asleep as well at times ð Buy this if you have rechargable batteries or Occasional use with normal batteries.
