Great for tummy time and also for sensory play for babies…its totally worth the money and it can surely add lots of fun to the tummy time ..my early crawler just loves to move on the mat and explore it around and the water in the mat provides a great sensory play for the babies and even my first grader also enjoys playing with the mat along with the baby so it’s quite sturdy too .
It’s sometimes hard to keep a baby’s concentration on a toy, so you have to switch out often. My 5 month old, as well as 4yr old loved this mat. They both loved the fish inside. Well, my 4yr old realizes she’s too big for the mat but she doesn’t care. She loves the fact that it’s squishy. The baby kept trying to grab the fish that are inside. Great toy for hand eye coordination. It also helps them develop motor skills. Overall, I really like this mat.
My son loves playing with the fish when he is doing tummy time! It peaks his interest and he doesn’t cry to get off his belly. What is a bit inconvenient is that blowing it up without a bicycle pump is nearly impossible to do and it is heavy for people that have back problems to pick up.
My grandson would not do tummy time. He cried each time. We have a couple different play mats for tummy time and he just did not like to be on his belly. We purchased this water filled mat and he instantly was on his belly playing. He is 10 months old now and still likes to play with it. It’s sturdy also. He sits on it and plays. I highly recommend this mat.
We loved this item but after about 3 weeks the seal started to leak… It is no longer safe for our children to use. Would love to have it exchanged but its not offering us that option. Overall it was an awesome water mat!
