Perfect for post breast surgery.
I bought these for pain management post lumpectomy. They are exactly what I wanted / needed. The size and shape wrap around well and while the soft side is perfect against bare skin, the plastic side works well for letter the cold seep through bandages. Having a set of two means you always have one available.

Perfect, just a bit large
These are amazing for someone who suffers from painful, white/blue nipples (due to Raynaudâs) that interfere with my ability to breastfeed. I have followed the instructions on how long to heat them in the microwave and they work well for me. (Note: I have not tried these packs for their cooling abilities.) Iâm a 34D and these are pretty enormous on me, so I do wish they were a bit smaller, but this is not a deal-breaker. Iâd much rather have them too big than too small! I can just fold them over or shuffle them a bit inside my bra. I really like that they have a âfuzzyâ side that doesnât get stuck onto my skin. (I believe that the competitorsâ pads may not have a fuzzy side but Iâm not certain).

I didnât end up needing these for the intended area but theyâre great quality and were definitely worth having on stand by just in case. Chilled and used them on my neck and upper back for temperature regulation and muscle stiffness and they worked exactly as they should.
Good for breast sensitivity
My breast can get very tender during my period. I keep them in the freezer and pop them in a sports bra at home.One side is clear plastic, the other one is a velvety fabric. They are filled with transparent beads. They are quite big: I am a 32D, and they cover all the way to my armpit when I center my nipple in the hole on the inside of the moon shape.The good things about these are: 1) One side is fabric, so it’s not unbearably freezing on the skin. 2) They are a great relief for tender breasts. 3) They are big enough to cover a large area of my breasts.The bad things are: 1) They are bigger than I expected, so they stick out of my bra a fair bit (even though it’s a sports bra with relatively good coverage). I need to be lying down and not do much when I use them, or else they won’t stay in place properly. 2) The hole for the nipples is way too big, so there are parts of my breasts around the nipples that are not covered. 3) They are less flexible than I thought – I think it would be much better if they were filled with gel instead of beads. 4) They don’t get as cold as I would like them, mostly because, once again, they are filled with beads and not gel.Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. They really have helped with my breast sensitivity. There aren’t really any models that are better designed right now on the market, so unless someone creates a new model that addresses the issues I’ve mentioned above, these will probably have to do.

These work but only last ten minutes. The soft fabric is good and can be put against skin. They fit in my bra. As long as you donât mind the short application time theyâre fine. Useful for mastitis or post breast surgery.
I recently had breast cancer lumpectomy surgery and bought several different kinds of ice packs in preparation. These were the ones that were perfect. I was glad it came in a 2 pack so one could remain in the freezer to switch with because they donât hold the cold as the harder ones do. So having the extra in the freezer worked great. One of the main benefits of these are is they donât get rigid. They are soft and lay nicely against my breast and the incision. Too much pressure from the more solid ones hurt. But these were great! I highly recommend them.
In August I found out that I had amorphous grouped microcalcifications that were scored Birad 4. A biopsy was ordered. Due to other health issues I couldn’t do the stereotactic biopsy and had to have an excisional instead.I purchased these Breast Ice Packs as well as these small ones https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FM1DVDZ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1I wasn’t sure what I would need or how either would work. Both were very similar. They don’t stay cold for very long but that was okay. They say to only apply ice for 20 minutes at a time. These worked for that.I took each of these pink ones and put them in separate gallon freezer bags. I put the blues in a gallon freezer bag as well, three in each bag. I rotated through these and it worked perfectly. The soft side is super soft and comfortable. The plastic side is colder but not as nice against the skin. I was bandaged so I had that extra layer in between.For my purpose I think I liked the small blue ones a little better as I could move them around in my sports bra with a bit more flexibility. But I’m still glad I got the pink ones. I could move those around as well and position them as needed. I’m small/medium chested (large B small C) and these gave me a decent amount of coverage.Overall Im very happy with these. It served the purpose I needed them for and I do like how soft the soft side is.
These are very helpful when your breasts are engorged or you have a clogged duct. Whatâs disappointing is that they donât fit that well around my pump. I wear a pump bra and when I try to put the heating pads in it they are too narrow and end up either lifting up the pump part around my nipple or just lay on the plastic. Granted these are great if you are not pumping because they fit well around the breast. You have to be careful hearing them up because the beads will get REALLY hot in some places and not in others. You have to squish them around to disperse the heat. I havenât tried them cold yet but itâs nice that you can use either hot or cold with them.
These are GREAT. From someone who has had mastitis twice and is constantly battling clogged ducts, this saves so much time in that you donât have to make hot packs to use prior to feed/pumping. They stay hot for a long time, long enough to not reheat and help open ducts up. They are large and for someone with a 34DD cup they couldnât be smaller – so they are not too big at all. If they are too big you can put on the under side of breast to get to the ducts there. This is a great tool. I use in combination with a lactation massager (it vibrates) and really helps ope ducts up.
Donât get me wrong, it is not a bad product. Itâs soft and cold (on one side only). It does give comfort to wife and relief the pain. It is soft and easily apply and fit. The only down side is that it is a bit small and lose its coldness pretty soon. Would recommend to purchase two sets and rotate them.
