We needed something purposeful for the BIG, decorative pillows (the ones with fancy shams that match the duvet cover) that go on the bed when it’s made up nicely. For a total of 3 BIG square pillows and two MEDIUM rectangular pillows, we were tossing them onto a small table in the bedroom, which was messy. And they used to slide off onto the floor occasionally. It was a bad temporary solution that went on too long.After some reading about the different basket products from this brand vs the others, this one had the material, colors, and quality we were looking for. We weren’t sure whether the basket would be too big or too small, if pieces of it would flake or fall off, etc. It worked out better than I thought. If I were being picky and had to do it all over again, I could even go for the XXXXXL instead of the XXXXL that we bought. The XXXXL is definitely high enough to hold the tall stack of pillows, but the corners of the biggest pillows are a tucked in and down a little tightly.The basket’s cotton rope material is sturdy AND flexible, which means the basket stands upright without looking dumpy, and it accommodates differently-shaped items inside of it that flex it around, without looking deformed. I honestly did not think the basket would be this good, but I love it when I find a “silver bullet” item for the home.
Very sturdy and fits lots. I use them to store decorative pillows etc when turning down beds at night instead of tossing them on the floor
My kids keep accumulating blankets and I needed somewhere to store them all. So I gave this basket a try. Itâs very pretty. Nice and thick. The handles are comfortable and seem like theyâll last, unlike similar baskets Iâve purchased for laundry. As you can see, I have a LOT of blankets in there so thatâs impressive. Itâs made keeping my living room semi neat much easier. Going to order another one for toys, etc.
