Sturdy and looks good, but quality is poor
The order arrived quickly, but the quality of the table and chairs was poor considering the price of the product. One of the table legs is warped and not straight (example attached). There are also a number of cracks and chips in the wood on both the chairs and table (example attached).
Nice set, but the packaging was crappy
Nice set, but the packaging was crappy.It had dents and dings and the screw holes didnât line up so some had to be made wider for the bolts to fit.Light use is best for the material itâs made of.

Table Damaged
The table was damaged when I took it out of the box. The top of the table had a chip out of it .
My almost 5 year old (she will be 5 in one week) loves her new table! She recently outgrew her other set, and I have been watching this one for a few months, hoping that the price would go down on it. When it finally did, I jumped on it and am so glad I did! It arrived quickly and in great condition, and was really easy to assemble.The chairs were really easy to assemble – I used an electric screwdriver to secure the screws in the back of the back portion of the chair. the two front legs, and the rear back legs (that are already attached to the back of the chair) are secured with two washers and a screw that required an allen wrench. I was able to tighten everything easily myself, and did attempt to tighten further with the electric screwdriver but of course that did not work. I had my husband further tighten the screws to make sure they were secure. The chairs are super sturdy, so much so that I can sit at this table with my daughter to do puzzles and other activities! (I am 41 years old, 140 pounds and did not feel like I was going to break this chair while sitting in it). It is also the perfect height – allowing room to grow for my little one, and was easy for me to sit on (I am 5’6″).The table was equally easy to assemble – I was able to put this whole set together by myself, and it took me about 45 minutes in total.It is easy to wipe clean, looks awesome, and most of all, my daughter loves it! This is a higher quality piece of kids furniture and I am so glad that I read and listened to the reviews and went for it!This set sat at $98, which I felt was too much, so when it went on sale for $63 again I knew I had to grab it. You will not regret this purchase!
OVERALL I LOVE IT! I was looking for a white set for my kids to read or play together. It goes great next to our ikea kallax bookshelves too.Seat height: This seat height is 13â which is perfect for both my 3 year old and 8 year old. My 3yo toes can touch the floor and can easily move in and out. For my 8 yo, its at the perfect height, he may outgrow it in a year or 2, but my younger one will continue to enjoy it. Our previous set was a plastic one had 4 chairs with 10â seat height (also from Amazon!). It lasted 7 years but we had outgrown it.Materials, Quality and Durability: it seems durable, with many solid wood parts, i cant tell if it is 100% solid wood. the table surface is laminated, which would seem easy to clean too. If you want to look closer, you can see some glue (not visible from the top) and some marks on the chairs but I didn’t mind them. I haven’t tested its sturdiness or durability yet and can update later on that.Installation: No installation manual but it was easy to figure out on my own. It was easy to put together and my little one was my assistant. However I did need some help from my husband. 3 out of the 8 chair screws needed some more pre-drilling to completely screw in. Other than that, all you need is a screw driver.Design: Itâs a classic design that well with linear furniture. Some reviews talk about screws being visible, and yes, each chair shows 4 screws in the back. Im thinking of either painting the screw heads white or finding those little round wooden pieces (canât remember the name) to cover them.Hope this helps!!
This table seems pretty sturdy and is a great size for our kids. It’s also a good size for our smaller livingroom. Nice spot for the kids to read, play a game and have a snack. I knocked a star off due to the pieces under the seat of the chairs not sitting flush. They tilt out in spots instead of lining up nicely. Makes it look like they’re coming apart, tho i know they’re not. I’ve also had to tighten the bolts a couple times which isn’t a huge deal. Likely just from regular use. Overall it’s a decent kids table and functions as I need it to.
This was a little hard to put together on my own but I chose this set because the seat is 13 inches off the ground vs. the usual 10 or 10.5 inches. I figured this would be a good set to last a couple years. My nearly four year old is over 43 inches tall so Iâm not sure how much longer this one would last but I figured it was worth the $60 price increase for any added functionality compared to the more popular brand that are less expensive. I will say I was disappointed to find that the table top is not solid wood but pressed particle board with laminate on top. But the legs and chairs are solid wood. It makes the table lighter to ship and move around, but Iâm not sure if itâs as stable as others. Itâs also not a âwhite boardâ top like other tables that you can use erasable marker on top off. I also chose this after the video of the dad sitting at the table with no issues. My child has home schooling with teachers who are more than 70 pounds and itâs nice they can sit together at this table that is in his space instead of working in the dining room where there are more distractions. So far everything works great.Chair spokes broke almost instantly after my child stood on the chair. Also some screws seemed to loosen with use and wonât tighten.
