Harder than it looks
First of all, the product page says for age 4-8 but on the box it says 3+. I would personally think a kid under 8 would need help for at least the first 15-30 minutes, and I’m not sure a 3yo can play by himself. The first 10 levels are pretty straightforward, but the real difficulty comes after this, when you’re supposed to use a certain number of pieces but it’s possible to make a shorter path and finish a track without using all the required pieces. At first, my 6yo daughter had some trouble imagining a longer path, she just wanted to make it work and didn’t care if there were leftover pieces. I had to stay with her and insist that she has to find the one and only path, using all the pieces.I think I would have fun myself doing the harder puzzles, it’s a good challenge. I like the overall size, it is quite big and easy to manipulate. It is also very sturdy and I don’t think you can break any part of it. There are 3 vehicles included and the latter levels ask you to do longer tracks involving a “relay”, in which a first vehicle needs to bump into a second one to make it start the second part of the track.

Excellent, not just for kids
I will admit that I got this item for myself, rather than for a child, for a very specific reason: Being autistic, I find that order, logic and patterns help to calm me when overwhelmed, and I hoped that this might offer some relief in that sense, by forcing me to think logically. I’m thrilled to say that it did exactly that.It’s strange to think that a 40-year old would be playing with a toy like this, but having the tactile equivalent of a brain teaser is surprisingly helpful in calming sensory overload, or at least I found it so. I get easily overwhelmed when faced with a lot of demands or anything time-sensitive, so things such as meal preparation, for example, can be very stressful. However, sitting down with this toy after preparing a meal actually helped to focus my mind and force it into a state of order that allowed me to calm the overwhelm I was feeling.The toy quality, at first, felt ‘cheap’, in that it was very light plastic, but after examining it, I found that this was seemingly intentional, as only the base plates were made of this light material, allowing them to fit in the included carry bag with minimal weight. The trucks and directional pieces, however, and even the little balls the trucks have to carry, are all of solid quality, and would likely stand up to a fair bit of rough play. There are very few small pieces, the only ones being the balls, meaning that if playing with a focus on the logic rather than the actual reward aspect of the truck dropping off one of the balls (or even replacing them with a treat for the child), this seems like a solid choice for teaching young children problem-solving skills while keeping them busy.One thing to note when considering this, which I tested myself today, is that the ‘board’ can be played with just as easily and effectively with any combination of interlocking tiles (in my case, 4), if space happens to be at a premium when playing, making this an excellent activity to take on trips for playing in hotels or at a friend’s, especially given the sturdy carry bag included.

Great game for challenging kids to create and connect paths to reach end goals. I like that the board is plenty large with modular pieces and winding cars that allow children to test their creations. The game is educational, challenges the imagination and creativity of the individual and involves problem solving. This toy is also great for more than 1 child to play with at once since it comes with several pieces, a large base and multiple winding cars. The material of the parts are well made and the game is easy to store away when not in use.

My child and my “inner child” absolutely love this toy. I ordered it initially because it appeared transportable, no batteries, no bright screens or sounds, yet still a toy that moves.It’s part puzzles, part planning, part following instructions, part logic, part tactile, part programmjng, part creativity. Absolutely love this toy for all ages. Id say, aside from small parts (ball), children as young as 2 can enjoy this toy in some form.I’ve also seen similar versions in a smaller format. This is far superior because it is not only bigger in layout, but more track options and designs.In an age where there are too many electronic toys that make kids fixated, this toy is near perfect.

What an absolutely interesting game – I am very impressed with how fun and enjoyable it is, not only for my 7-year-old, but for myself as well. There is a lot more to this game than what meets the eye and I really think that the age group for this should easily include adults.Itâs ideally puzzle game and itâs really great for strategizing, logical thinking and decision-making and I love that there are so many ways to play and set up; and with 120 question cards, this up has been a never-ending source of amusement and fun for my son since we got.The pieces are made of good quality, light and durable plastic. The interlocking tiles go together easily and the instructions are easy to read and understand.No plugs, no batteries, no screens required; just good old fashion, wholesome fun, and a strategizing puzzle game that isnât just educational but comfortably challenging and enjoyable to play for all ages. I highly recommend.

The kids love this. I do find it a bit difficult to put together. But once thatâs over and they figure out how to build the track sequence, theyâre having fun. The game is made from good quality materials and I hope it lasts.
