I didn’t know this existed, but saw it on tik tok and looked into it. Good deal for a 2 pack. It’s not a huge container but a little goes a long way so you don’t need much. It’s scented but it smells good, but not that minty kind of smell like Vicks. Perfect for baby and definitely helps him sleep a bit better. Would buy again in future!
Non-irritating
This is likely a five-star product manufactured by Bayer, a trusted name in over-the-counter health products.With the permission of our daughter-in-law, we ordered this baby care soothing rub, thinking that with this two-pack, they would use one, and the one at our house would be one less thing for them to pack when they came over.This rub contains lavender, chamomile, and eucalyptus. Lavender is known to have a calming effect, chamomile has a mild sedative effect, and eucalyptus is used in soothing teas. It is paediatrician-tested and suitable for babies 1 month and older as a soothing rub at bedtime. This is a new product, at least to them and us. When our daughter-in-law read the packaging, the warning related to the Poison Control Center caused them to hold off using this product. Out of an abundance of caution, they want to discuss it with their doctor before using it on their 4-month-old baby, and that appointment is still in the future.I have tested this on my wrist when an area was mildly irritated. This flares up occasionally, and it is caused by wearing a watch. This hydrasense product did not irritate my skin further. While I found the scent mild, I can’t say it had any soothing effect on me or my skin. However, I had only applied this to an area about the size of a quarter.
Just a rub
This review is identical to another one as it’s the exact same product, but in a two packs instead.Essentially, it’s just a rub, with a nice (or strong) scent for some. It’s more to create a routine and a physical rub than to help the baby with a cough and associated congestion, for example. I like that it’s petroleum free, but I would love to have something that works as well as Vicks does.
Wonder Worker!
This soothing rub is a bit of a life saver. Our new born has been going through a bit of a fussy phase of not wanting to be put down, and we have tried everything.This rub has really helped. It wasn’t a every time works magic and done, but it defiantly did soothe our little one to calm down easier and quicker.The smell is very pleasant as well and I was happy that it was over bearing. It’s very light, soft, and faint, almost like mild baby ointments.I also liked that it did not dry up babies skin, our little one has been dry and we have to apply ointment almost daily, and this didn’t inflame or make any matters worse.Personally I can recommend it, and I did see results. Baby didn’t get the rub applied and fall asleep immediately or anything like that. But they did calm down, and made it a lot easier for us to help get baby sleeping.

This rub is very gentle on sensitive skin which makes it perfect for babies and toddlers. Even if you are sensitive to stronger scents then adults would be good to use this Soothing rub.It is quite the nice soothing and relaxing feeling against your skin. The scents are all calming and this rub will help your little one to fall asleep a lot quicker. We rubbed this on our little guy and in a minute he was sleeping very deeply. I had a bit left on hands and rubbed it on my other half’s chest and back and he was also napping in minutes as well.The portions are a good size and they fit will into bags and packs for trips out of the house.
Smells nice
Really not sold this is a necessary product. Yes it smells nice, and moisturizes, but I don’t think it really does anything. Theres no menthol in it which can open nasal passages a little.It’s basically feels like just a placebo when you rub it on to help it feel like theres something happening… Don’t get me wrong, that’s not a knock, the placebo effect is very strong.

These are precisely as marketed and described. They’re basically a soothing rub that’s ideal for babies. It’s very gentle. The scent and menthol concentrations are there, but more subtle and gentle than versions more suitable for adults. Additionally, the fact that they’re petrolatum-free helps to keep it from being too greasy and sticky.
