Does the job, droppers work perfect
Some reviews suggesting the droppers arenât great and I completely disagree. Iâve been using these day and night for just over a week and I really like how the droppers work. The drops donât fall out the moment you turn the bottle upside down like some, which is great for not losing product before getting it to your eye. The dropper does require a bit of pressure but not enough to write about, and certainly not enough to be a con. To me, it feels like just enough pressure that Iâm not accidentally squeezing anything out.Caps seal well, eye drops themselves work well. Iâve had incredibly dry eyes and really needed some relief. Some drops bother my eyes more than they help, some provide little to no relief, and some feel like Iâm just dropping water into my eyes. These feel great and seem to start working immediately, and they do provide relief.
WELL worth the money spent, even with a few bottle design issues
I’ve been suffering from chronic dry eye for the last few months, and I was told to use HYLO gel by my ophthamologist. I found HYLO gel to be really expensive, and was having to use it 5-6 times a day (at least), so I stumbled on these drops ny hydraSense (day drops). Fast-forward a month later, and I find myself needing FAR less treatment for my dry eye – I only use these drops 2-3 times a day and my eyes feel much, much less dry and itchy overall. The night-time drops are excellent, too. I wake up every morning with my eyes feeling as good as new.The biggest bonus is that these drops are just a third the cost of HYLO gel, too! When I think about it, not only is the cost of these drops three times LOWER than an ophthalmologist-recommended brand, I also end up using it only about HALF as frequently as I needed to before! It’s a win-win.Yes, the numerous complaints regarding the bottle’s design are valid – you do need to squeeze a bit hard to push out the drops, and the stubby nozzle makes you end up wasting a drop or so each time (it spills over out the side of the nozzle a bit, after each use). BUT, once you get used to the bottle’s quirks, the drops themselves WILL do their thing, and I’ll definitely buying more of these drops in the future. Over time, I expect to save a pretty penny by not buying any more HYLO. For the price paid, it’s definitely well worth it!
Great Moisturizing for Dry Eye Syndrome
I have Dry Eye Syndrome and regularly use eyedrops. I usually use another brand. I thought I would give HydraSense Advanced Eye Drops a try as the price was very reasonable. They are very good eyedrops, in fact, the relief they provide to my gritty, itchy, dry eyes last longer than my usual brand. But the bottle is a little difficult to use. They have a unique bottle which only dispenses a drop at a time and also prevents any fluid from going back into the bottle. This is a great feature to not waste precious drops but…one has to squeeze the bottle very hard to get a drop to come out, the less fluid left in the bottle, the harder one has to press the bottle to get a drop. As I have to squeeze so hard I am not able to keep my hand still enough to ensure that one drop hits my eyeball each time. I am wasting more drops than are getting into my eye. So, although the product does seem to work a little better than my usual brand I will likely not purchase again due to the bottle/wasted drop issue….Update to original review, ok, so I did purchase this again as it does provide better relief to my dry eye than my usual product. This time I purchased the combo-pack which includes drops for daytime and nighttime. I find my eye is really bad upon wakening so I thought if I used these drops just before bed I might find some morning relief.

Love these drops! Yes the night one is thicker and the dropper is a pain but still great product
Dryness and winter heating plus computer work will make the eyes red and sensitive. Best to rehydrate instead of getting clear eyes drops which can irritate further. I use these before and if still red after 15min then I use allergies clear eyes types as I do get allergies but I know that most times it’s dryness and these drops does the trick. I think this company needs to have a larger opening hole on the night version as it’s a thick gel and it takes a while to get out even when pressing really hard. It’s a pain when you just want to go to bed and have to struggle with the dropper. I use a cuticule scissor to open the hole a bit wider and it now drops normally like the day time more watery one. Still a great product.

Great eye drop for hydrating my dry eyes Only problem is the design of the container. It gets harder and harder to squeeze the eye drop out of the container as I get toward end. Cannot empty container. Wasted some eye drops. Because of the poor design of the container, sometimes I got more eye drops on my face than my eye.

We always use hydraSense –reorder upon reorder. THIS time someone saw fit to stuff a 9.75oz. Tub ofFELINE GREENIES Cat Treats Natural Dental Care with the hydraSense Eye Drops Day and Night Pack in an Amazon plastic bag (you know the kind).The Greenies tub split with one plastic chunk inside the splintered tub and the hydraSense pack was mangled and munched.I’m not sure who’s more ticked off. Us –or the cat!
I’d advise to order the eye drops separately to assure receiving what you ordered. I liked the pm drops. Most eye drops, even preservative free, have irritating additives. Even these still leave my eyes red, but not as irritated as others recommended by my doctor. I had photophobia so bad that I think I know how vampires feel. I don’t get the irritation and photophobia with the pm drops. Now, I need to order the AM drops to see if they work.
The product itself is good but the bottle is very difficult to squeeze. It takes a long time for a drop to dispense. I would prefer multiple individual containers rather than one large bottle.
The daytime drops irritated my eyes. No damage to the right eye but my left eye is now blurry. The nighttime drops felt OK in both eyes, but not quite as good as Systane Hydration PF.Full disclosure, I had cataract surgery about 5 weeks ago, and ended up having dry eye. I live in the USA and ordered these drops because I liked the idea of a 2-pack, day & night drops, and most other reviews are positive. Most negative reviews refer to the bottle (which is very similar to the Systane drops), not the drops themselves. However, these drops might not be suitable for post-cataract surgery.I’m sticking with Systane Hydration PF drops for now.
