Does the job and looks great
The quality is ok, I worried while assembling that it would break, but after assembly it’s sturdy. I am able to sit on it and my 20m old son climbs up and stands on it and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to break. Were using it as a toy bin and since the play room is the middle of my living room it elevates the area much better than my cubes did, plus I was able to stick baby proof straps on the sides to rotate toys/keep the chaos contained.The hinges hold the lid in place to whatever spot you open it to, so there’s no worrying of little fingers getting pinched by it slamming down, and the gap in the front also helps little fingers to close it and not get pinched as well.I have already gotten a few compliments on it.
Perfect Particle Board Storage Chest!
This storage chest is exactly what I wanted and expected! No different than similar items sold in-store at Ikea, Walmart, or Home Depot. Easy to build completely alone (I’m five foot three and 98lbs and had no issues) and sturdy once completed (although I wouldn’t recommend roughhousing on or around it and doubt it would last long if you had misbehaving or rowdy children). Everything was included to build this, even a sturdy screwdriver with a reversible magnetic head attachment. Will be keeping that for future projects. I am able to sit gently on it when the lid is closed with no give or resistance. No strange smells whatsoever. I use this chest to store large and bulky yet lightweight items (plushies, sheets, pillows), as the bottom is much thinner than the lid and I doubt it could hold items of significant weight. Again, this is all exactly what I expected and wanted, however … so it’s not a complaint and moreso a warning if you’re looking at this item and expecting something as robust as an antique hardwood storage chest. No modern furniture will hold up to those expectations! Keep it realistic and you’ll be as happy as I was. Absolutely recommended!

I love the chest. Size and look are great. However, I saw that the box was damaged and the tape replaced. I check the pieces and they seem OK but when I finish assembling it, I noticed the front had some damaged that was covered in a weird way (see pictures). Amazon was great about it since I didnât want to return it since it was fully assembled. Seller very accommodating. Thanks!

I’m never expecting much when buying cheap furniture, but this was by FAR the biggest piece of garbage I have ever bought in my life. The “wood” it’s made from is flimsier than the cardboard it was shipped in. I nearly broke every piece just trying to hold it while screwing it together.Half the pieces had the screw holes misaligned and I had to drill my own. It’s also not possible to put it together by yourself and barely possible with 2 people. You have to have someone hold the lid up perfectly steady so you can screw the hinges on with like 20 of the world’s tiniest screws.Then when you finally get it built, it makes the loudest creaking sound whenever you open or close it.Don’t buy this. I guarantee any other piece of furniture on here will be infinitely better.
