Great baby cam
We love this baby camEasy to use, great image and sound
I just love this device so much that is my second one! It’s an amazing camera ( 2 K ) both daytime and nighttime . and it’s my eyes and ears and sometimes my voice too, all this while I can calm down my baby with some soothing music and the projection of stars and moon in the ceiling, or even make them hear a story .it has uncountable songs and stories which you can choose from mood or by age.you can ever record sounds and it plays them.I just wish we could choose some other languages besides English. But it’s a 5 star product!Definitely recommend it!PS. This item just keeps surprising me. It just fell to the floor a couple times and the camera stopped spinning but it is very simple to dismantle it, put the pieces in the right place and just put it all together again. Great simple childproof camera, cannot recommend it enough!
I initially purchased an iBaby M6s about 4 years ago for my first child and have been a huge fan ever since. I havebeen anxiously awaiting the latest iteration from iBaby and overall the M8 does not disappoint! Almost every issue I have had, although small, have been addressed. One complaint I always had was a short and proprietary power cord for the unit, that has been addressed incredibly well with a micro USB cable that is more than long enough allowing for much better flexibility for monitor mounting height. The second issue I always had was the setup time, it was typically slow and made the monitor a pain to travel with, I am happy to say the setup process was incredibly painless and I had the monitor up and running easily with the promised “60 second” setup timeline. The third issue I always had was the base of the monitor detaching from the monitor and the overall size of the monitor being a bit bulky, the latest monitor is noticeably more compact and affixed to the base which is great. Finally, my biggest issue has always been the mount, due to the size and range of the rotation up/down/side to side getting a good angle into the crib was often difficult if not impossible without some shimming. This latest model now has fully flexible mount that is a complete game changer, between the longer cord, flexible mount and affixed base it is incredibly simple to get the perfect angle of your room or crib. My only gripe with the new model would be the fixed panning “notches”, how far the monitor moves when you pan, are a little further than I would like, more incremental panning would be much more ideal. Overall I couldn’t be happier with the M8 and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a great wifi baby monitor. Solid image quality, high degree of mounting location flexibility, very reliable connectivity, access from any smartphone and ability to add multiple monitors to the app/system make this monitor one of the best on the market in my opinion.
We have had this camera almost 2 years. It was good enough. It had a pretty good picture. App would fail some times, but nothing big enough to complain about⦠until now. Just recently the camera stopped resetting itself (unplug, plug back in and wonât rotate. Hold reset button and wonât rotate). It wonât connect to the internet either. Reached out to customer service and they said it was a known problem and they were working on an update. Ours isnât connecting to any networks so even if they get out a patch or update, our camera wouldnât receive it. Customer service said there was nothing they could do since weâve had it over a year. If we had done something to the camera, I would agree with them. This camera just stopped working while sitting on a shelf. I will not be purchasing another Ibaby product. The equipment clearly malfunctioned on their side. We paid over $180 for this to only last less than 2 years. Not worth it.
As soon as I saw this was released I knew I would be purchasing it. We are using a M7 with our first child and have loved its features (yes, it worked while deployed overseas to view and chat) and knew this was going to be an improvement for our 2nd.The camera is crystal clear. The 1080 of the M7 is wonderful, but the 2k really shows when you zoom in on the M8. The movement is more responsive to command, and best of all, the base is solid/attached, vs the M7’s detachable base. The wall mount bracket is a nice feature though I’m not sure I’ll be able to use it in my setup. Setup was a breeze by comparison to the M7, with the QR code. The camera image loads much faster. Voice prompts are a nice touch during setup. Speaker clarity is much better and the mic picks up from across the room very well. The night vision is clearer and has more depth/contrast.The “extras” ability to play music, white noise, lights, are all identical and have the same controls. If money is a concern and you are watching a budget, the M7 will do everything you want quite well. If you have a bit more flexibility in your budget, the higher resolution and responsiveness of the M8 will clearly show on todays higher spec smartphones. If my M7 dies, I will replace it with a M8.
From infant to toddler, the iBaby has done a great job with helping us keep an eye on our children. Set up is straight forward and customer service has been pretty responsive when needed. A good buy for those looking for a competent monitor.
