  1. Warm, Lightweight Kids Boots
These Flake Kids Winter Boost from Ice Fields are really well made. They have a one piece waterproof TRP shell and a lightweight Polyester upper that’s very flexible so the boots will be comfortable to wear and walk in. The one piece lower shell will keep your child’s feet dry even if they walk through slushy snow or deep puddles up to 3″ deep. The boots have a long hook and loop flap along the outer side and open wide when the flap is undone so it’s easy for young children to put them on and take them off themselves. There’s also a double row of bungee cords on the front of the boots that will help keep them snug on your child’s feet. They feature a thick Polar Fleece lining that’s rated to -25°C/-13°F so your child’s feet will stay nice and warm regardless of whether they’re outside playing in the snow or waiting for the school bus to come. The memory foam insoles are soft and provide good cushioning while walking and the soles are a thick and durable TPR material and have deep lugs and studs that will provide great traction on snowy, slushy sidewalks and playgrounds. The sizing is accurate and the Kids 10 fits my 4 year old grand daughter perfectly. They’re a slightly more snug fit around her ankles which is great so her feet don’t lift out as she’s walking, and they have a wide toe box so she has plenty of room to wiggle her toes and can still wear a thicker pair of socks if it’s really cold out. There’s about 1/4″ of space before her toes touch the front of the boot, so she’ll be able to grow into them and wear them for this winter and hopefully the next too. These boots are really well made, very warm and fit great, so they get a highly recommended and 5 out of 5 stars.

  2. Great boots
These boots are well made, easy to dry, and easy to get on, thanks to the large opening flap. My kid said they were “pretty comfy”. They’re a good value for the price, comparable to what you’d see at a big-box store. Nice colours.

  3. Mid-calf winter boots for toddlers
These winter boots are about averaged priced at $55 for off-brand boots. These boots feature a velcro opening along each side of the boot to allow a wide opening to slide your toddler’s feet into, non-slip rubber sole, a rubber shoe area to keep feet dry, and a wool-like lining on the interior of the shoe to keep your child’s feet warm. The boots are rated to be effective up to -25C so it should be able to withstand most Canadian winters especially if you live in more southern parts like the GTA. The boots are relatively easy to put on compared to others that I have tried mostly due to the wide mouth (enabled by the velcro) and the heel strap on the back of the shoe which helps you pull the shoe on.The only drawback was the lack of size chart on the listing. I ordered a size 6T for my 14-month-old son which is a little bit loose but fits with a thick winter sock.Overall, these boots met my expectations of winter boots and should be able to last a few winters or be passed onto another child after your child outgrows them.Pros:- Velcro strip along the outer side of each boot to allow a wide mouth opening for ease in sliding toddler’s feet into the boots- Hook on the back of the boot to help pull on the boots- Non-slip rubber sole and upper shoe area to provide traction on ice and keep feet from getting wet- Warm wool-like lining on the interior of the shoe (not removable)Cons:- No size chart found on the listing, had to guess size

  4. Wonderful Warm Winter Boots With Reflectors
These Warm Winter Kids Boots have soft interiors with fillable identification labels inside. They have thick rubber bottoms with grips so kids can maneuver through the snow easy while staying warm and dry. The adjustable velcro sides are strong as well as the rest of the durable, waterproof materials used. There are also bright reflectors all around – on the front, bottoms, sides and backs. Two thumbs up for sure!!

  5. Cute and warm toddler snow boots, but minor flaws
These snow boots are adorable, and the fun pattern is a big hit with kids. They seem warm and cozy, which is great for chilly days. The waterproof shell on the bottom half is good for keeping feet dry in light snow or slush. The Velcro closure makes them easy for toddlers to put on and take off, and the roomy design accommodates thicker socks. However, one of the boots has a rough spot inside where the shell connects to the upper fabric. It feels like a thick seam, while the other boot doesn’t have this issue or it’s less noticeable. It’s not a huge problem, but it might bother some kids. The other boot didn’t have this issue, so it could be a one-off defect. Time will tell how durable these are after more wet and snowy adventures.A tip: If you plan to use them for extended snow play, check if the upper water-resistant fabric meets your needs.✔ Pros: Cute design with fun patterns Warm fleece lining, perfect for cold weather Waterproof shell for light snow and slush Easy for toddlers to put on with Velcro closure✘ Cons: Rough seam inside one boot Upper part is water-resistant, not fully waterproofThis review takes a look at the Toddler Little Kids Snow Winter Boots made by Ice Fields.

  6. Warm and dry, great treads and wide toe box. These are a great set of kids boots !
These boots feel very similar in quality to my kamik boots (which I love). They have nylon outer tops with a water resistant hydrophobic coating and the bottoms are thick thermoplastic rubber which is flexible, tough and grippy. The TPR rubber is completely waterproof with excellent wide treads. There’s reflective strips on both the front and back of the boots. They’re well insulated with thick, plushy fleece. The walls are roughly 15mm thick and will definitely keep little feet toasty and dry.The velcro closure makes it easy to get in and out of and it has a solid inch overlap so no snow will get through. I appreciate the wide toe box and the little fabric piece on the inside that you can put your child’s name and number in case the boot gets lost. I very highly recommend these boots!
