Great toy
This is a great toy! I have an 8 year old (the one we bought it for) and a 2 1/2 year old toddler who also loves playing with it but isnât the most gentle and this toy seems to stand up to both of them. Pretty simple controls that donât take much to get used to. I love that it has 2 rechargeable batteries so if one dies I can swap them out and it can keep going. And best of allâ¦â¦pressing just one simple button turns the sound effects off, lol.Again, great toy!
So cool and completely functional!
I got this for my toddler who is OBSESSED with construction trucks and especially Excavators! To my absolute delight, this toy is perfect! It comes with two rechargeable battery sets (so you can always swap one in if the other is drained… but honestly it last quite a while on one). It treads actually work like treads, the arm and bucket move and function just like you’d expect they would. Of course it’s not using hydraulics, but instead electric motors, but the effect is the same. The controller moves it any which way you desire and has two buttons fro the digging function.It works just about anywhere, but I suggest putting it in sand! That way it can actually pick up material as its scooping!Anyone with a kiddo who is into construction trucks and excavators will absolutely love this!
Almost Perfect
I bought this for my boyfriend while we went on vacation. He loved it. The batteries donât last a super long time, but for the price itâs nicely made and fun to use.Just the one we received didnât rotate on its tracks as was advertised on the box. Not sure if ours was just faulty or not.
Material not adapted to the task.
In itself it’s a great toy and my kids would have played a lot with it in the backyard with some loose dry soil on the patio. But as the gears and gear box are made of plastic, they broke quickly, after maybe 30 minutes. The shovel part is made of I believe aluminum so that’s good, and the system is simple. I fixed it once but not well enough as it’s not quite working anymore again. I would require some metal gear and gearbox. One more thing, the upper part only rotates on the tracks manually, there’s no motor to do that, which is too bad.It would be an excellent toy if it was more durable.

1 Month Update – Waste of Money
Broke so quickly, total waste of money. He was so gentle with it and it still broke so easily. Less than 1 month of playing with it. Plastic is very fragile, definitely not a toy meant for kids. Paid $40, price is now down to $28, not surprised at all. So disappointed. Christmas gift for boys
I didnât try it yet cause itâs for a Xmas gift but Iâm really excited to see my son open it. Itâs exactly what he asked Santa for and the only one on Amazon !! Canât wait !

This is very small don’t buy it unless your ok with it being small and flimsy
I was afraid of what I was going to receive but this thing is so much fun I highly recommend it and for the price cant beat that. Technology has gotten so much affordable now and I find myself playing with it more than my kid.
Itâs just as described! Fully operational, like a real life mini backhoe!!! My son loves it. Comes with 2 rechargeable batteries so never will be dead. If I had to give one bad comment itâs that itâs not as powerful as the video shows. In the dirt it gets jammed but sand and pebbles it does pick up!! So kids will definitely enjoy this toy! Def 5 stars
The attached photo is from the product listing photos. The perspective makes the toy look much bigger than it actually is. After receiving it I went back and re-read the dimensions and the listing is accurate however the photos are misleading. The battery power is very low even after a full charge and it does not travel on grass and goes very very slowly on the dirt as well. This is an inside toy and is âok qualityâ at best. I read other reviews that led me to believe I was making a solid toy purchase but ultimately was disappointed with my choice and wound up purchasing another one elsewhere that was little bigger and better quality
Itâs decent
I purchased this for my nephews first birthday because it was a tractor themed party. I purchased with the thought that heâs too young to play with it just yet but would probably get a kick out of his dad showing him how it works. IMMEDIATELY after opening it he knew instinctively how to operate it and got to work. He even quit opening his other gifts!
