The picture quality isnât great & I canât quite seem to get a good angle on my baby sleeping. Honestly, my $30 camera worked much better.
Speaker stopped working after a few months which is unfortunate since it was used to communicate with our toddler. Not sure if the monitor isnât sending audio or if the camera speaker is the issue. Everything else works fine. Camera can be mounted on a tripod which is a plus. Night vision works better than daytime picture quality. Monitor does run out of battery quickly especially if the display brightness is high and or the audio on the monitor is set high.
Dear iFamily Customer Service,I am writing to request assistance with a baby monitor that I purchased one year ago. Unfortunately, the monitor has developed connection issues that render it unusable.The monitor frequently disconnects from the camera, making it impossible to monitor my baby safely. I have tried troubleshooting the issue by resetting the monitor and camera, ensuring they are within range of each other, and checking for any interference from other electronic devices. However, the problem persists.The only way to get the monitor to work is to have the monitor and camera in very close proximity to each other, which is not practical or safe for everyday use. As a parent, I rely on this monitor to ensure my child’s safety, and I am deeply concerned about the current situation.Given that I purchased the monitor just one year ago, I believe it is still under warranty. I kindly request that you either provide a full refund for the product or send me a replacement unit as soon as possible.I have attached a copy of my purchase receipt for your reference. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to this matter.
So this baby monitor is fine- but for the price I ultimately returned it for a vtech one that I already have (needed a second). I personally donât need the camera to move, I just need to see my little one in his crib so that feature was lost on me. The picture quality is good, the night vision is good as long as itâs not pointed near a window while the sun is still going down. My issues with it are small but ultimately made me return it.1) the screen is so bright. I take care of my son at night and my husband works early so checking on the baby was like turning on the tv. It has brightness settings and the lowest one was too high for me.2) the camera is really zoomed in and doesnât allow you to zoom out.3) the ports for cables on both units (camera and monitor) pretty much suck. One gust of wind would knock them out just a hair and suddenly youâre no longer working. Which is frustrating when-4) battery life on the monitor is about five hours. Not nearly enough to last all night. That was determined in about 1hr and 15min when Iâd lost 1 out of 4 bars so maybe the last bar hangs on longer or something, I didnât actually time it but itâs not super long. My other baby monitor lasts like 20.At the end of the day it worked great and if I hadnât tried anything else I may not have noticed these things but thatâs just me experience. Also, I got it for around $50 on a sale. Hope that helps!
Customer Service was very responsive and quick in rectifying problem. They sent a new camera and monitor quickly and wanted to be sure all was working and problem was solved.
