Awesome device
I really love it! Great and clear display, backlight is awesome, itâs nice to be able to plug it, and most of all, itâs extremely accurate (see pictures). I wasnât sure about the accuracy at the beginning, but it did settle down after a couple of hours. Indoor thermometer/hygrometer is very accurate when you compare it to other devices and thermometers (Govee on the pictures, which is also a great little device by the way) or even the sensor, actually more accurate than a lot thermometers found on home thermostats (if thereâs a disparity, I would trust more the former and first suspect the latter to be a little off).Sensor and outdoor thermometer/hygrometer are also very accurate when compared to local weather services. If thereâs a disparity, especially in urban areas, check first with hyperlocal weather stations, e.g. on Weather Underground app, you should see very close values. Outdoor humidity is the only value that seems to be very often a little bit below the humidity level recorded at local weather stations (probably because of the location of the sensor), but it is still pretty accurate.Weather forecast is also nice and pretty accurate (keep in mind itâs a 12-hour forecast based on pressure variations, it doesnât display the actual weather). It did forecast the first snow of the year here!Remember it is not an “insta-thermometer”. If you move it to another room, or move the sensor, it will take some time to settle down and give you the right temperature/humidity. Same when you receive it… Before trying to judge its accuracy, let it sit for at least a couple of hours, or even better overnight, without looking at it every minuteâ¦Â You’ll then see that it is really accurate.I hope the sensor and batteries (2XAA) will hold up through the Canadian winter (I will update this review if thereâs any problem). I use two Eneloop Pro rechargeable batteries for now – so far so good.Overall, I obviously recommend this great little device.
Geat product at excellent price
This little weather station is well designed, has all the functions of a more expensive weather station but at a very reasonable price. I have a LaCross weather station where the outdoor sensor stopped working and the replacement sensor would be $54. Duh. This little sweetheart does all the same things for $29. I like that the indoor component can plug in, or use batteries and that the batteries for the outdoor are 2A rather than 3A.
Nice Looking & Works Great
We just moved into our new home, and we were setting up the basement as a family room. I wanted to know what the temperature was down there, and also in the garage. This little unit fills the bill perfectly. It has a very attractive colour display–but you’ll need to keep it plugged into a power source via the supplied USB cable if you want the display on continuously. The unit itself takes three AAA batteries, while the external sensor is powered by two AA batteries. The remote sensor immediately synced with the control unit. If you don’t keep the unit plugged in, you’ll need to use batteries and touch a button on the back to light up the display. The display gives you outdoor temperature and humidity at the top, a weather icon in the middle that shows you if the weather is going to be sunny or rainy, an atmospheric pressure display graduated in millibars, and at the bottom is indoor temperature and humidity. Everything seems to be accurate. The unit sits on my writing desk downstairs and is very pleasant–and informative–to look at. You can have the control unit sitting on a desk or table or you can hang it on the wall. It’s just the right size for a desk. Today, however, the unit lost sync with the remote sensor, and would not re-sync until I removed the power cord and batteries from the control unit and then put them back. I will update this review if the problem recurs. I dropped one star because of this problem.
Accurate outdoor weather
We walk 1.5 hours daily, so knowing the outside temperature is essential. This is easy to set up. I hung it in a pine tree near the trunk to keep it away from sunlight and snow. I like knowing the humidity as well.
Much Better Than La Crosse $ for $
Price for price this unit is much better than La Crosse.I just don’t get outside temperature, I get temp, humidity, and pressure.Plus if plugged into USB the display is back lit and there is no need to turn on a light in the room to see the weather.
Accuracy of temperature measurement poor.
Although the accuracy of the temperature sensors is stated to be + or – 0.5 degrees Iâm observing differences of up to 2.0 degrees between two sensors located side by side.

Very good weather station. Very accurate and readable even from 10ft. I place my outdoor sensor under the eavestrough using a hook and zip tie. Always place your sensor facing North side in a shaded protected area away from direct sunlight for best accurate results..

I bought this for my dad. In the end we ended up having to return it, but that was because we just couldnât find a spot to put the transmitter outside that would be protected. He is in an assisted living place and they donât have their own private outdoor area. We did set it up and it seemed to work perfectly. The screen was very clear although it was a lot smaller than I had anticipated from the listing. It would really have been OK. I like that you can plug it in or run it on batteries. It had all the necessary information that he is looking for.

I bought this for my RVs. It works great providing inside and outside temperatures and relative humidity readings. It is compact in size. The fit and finish of the plastic is excellent.
I’ve had this for several months now and waited to review until I knew if it was good or not. Overall I am pleased with the performance. Initial pairing and set up was quick and easy, temperatures seem very accurate and humidity number seem reasonable. The display is easy to read and so far the battery life is going strong. Confession: I purchased this unit because the one I had before used to eat batteries. This unit is much better. The only downside is prediction icons (will it rain, will it be sunny) isn’t always accurate. But I didn’t buy it for that and the forecast based on atmospheric pressure trends which can be misleading.
