I got this highchair for my sonâs new baby-on-the-way. We were a little weary about it before opening because the highchair box itself was damaged with holes in it, showing some of the contents inside and it looked like a shipping sticker to a different address was cut from the outside of the box. Although several pieces were wrapped in plastic and some of it was even zip tied together, there were some scuffs and blemishes on different parts, like it had been repackaged. The instructions even seemed like they had been used because there were page creases and something sticky on one of the pages. Even though it seemed like we got a used one, everything that was supposed to be in the box was present; . We were able to put the highchair together quick and easy, so that was a plus. It does look nice and the versatility of it growing with your little one is great. My son is excited to use it, but I was not impressed with the material at all; I honestly thought for the price it wouldâve been a stronger and more durable material. Even though this is a nice highchair, part of my overall feelings about this chair really lies with the first impression.
I would like to preface this review by saying that had this been the first highchair with my kiddo, it would have been great. I started my little guy out with a safety first and that has been a solid choice. My son is 16 months, now so I’ll be using the features for older babies going forward.However, here is my review for the Ingenuity Proper Positioner High Chair:I recently ordered the Ingenuity Proper Positioner High Chair, to replace his older one, and so far it’s been pretty decent. Assembly was straight forward. I will say even though it’s very versatile and that is a feature I appreciate in any child product, you cannot adjust the height and the material isn’t that sturdy.Moving along – This 7-in-1 baby seat is incredibly versatile, accommodating babies from 0 to 36 months. The removable rocking infant seat is a really nice feature that provides extra comfort and entertainment for your little bundle of joy (this would have been a game changer for me when my son was a newborn, I’m disabled so feeding him was a challenge). Plus, the high chair itself is designed with proper positioning in mind, ensuring that your baby is sitting comfortably and securely during mealtime. It’s also unisex, which is great for families with multiple children. Overall, I would recommend the Ingenuity Proper Positioner High Chair for its versatility and thoughtful design. This high chair is absolutely great. Its super versatile, takes up less space than most others, and was easy to assemble/change around. I have absolutely zero complaints and HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with a baby. This thing will help you for years!
Easy to assemble and the dirrections are available to help if you need it though I didn’t look at them as this is my 4th kiddo and I have done this rodeo a couple times. The cover is washable and easy to get on and off and the recline feature is great for smaller babies. My little girl is not eating solids yet but she loves to be at the table while we are eating and sits in it with toys on the tray while I am cooking and cleaning the kitchen. When we is eating this has all of the features needed to make a safe space for a learning baby to eat in an easy to clean environment. It doesn’t take up more space than any other high chair I have had and is easy to move to wherever is needed. I did not have this while my little one was in the rocker age but I did test it out and it seems like it would be a perfect portable rocker when needed.
