Very cute hamper for a woodland theme nursery, love that the inside is very easy to wipe out and clean. Stands up well without falling.
I don’t know why I ordered this, honestly. Wood-grain stuff is a huge weakness of mine, and I swear I go into these fugue states where I google “household items that look like they’re made of wood but aren’t lol” and buy everything in the first 100 results. Pretty sure that’s how I ended up with this thing. This stump. This hollow stump to haul clothes around in. I mean, it makes sense; stumps are cylinders, laundry hampers are cylinders. But when I first opened the package I was like WHAT HAVE I DONE? I SPENT $20 ON THIS. I NEED TO REEVALUATE MY LIFE.Then I noticed that it’s lined, which is classier than any laundry basket I currently use (aka those crinkly Ikea bags made out of tarps). Then I grabbed ahold of the rope handles and realized they’re thick but so, so soft. By that point it was already starting to grow on me, so I threw the rest of my mail in it to haul into the houseâand there were, like, three magazines in there, so it was some serious mail, PLUS three days’-worth of newspapers I’d been too lazy to bring in. By the time I reached the top of the stairs I was a believer: this isn’t just a hamper, it’s a multi-purpose crap hauler THAT LOOKS LIKE A STUMP.But I’m cynical, so I scoffed some more, thinking it was too small to effectively tote around laundry. Surprise, surprise, it’s perfect. Honestly, if it were any bigger it’d be a real struggle lifting all the clothes you pack in there. What’s even better is that it’s collapsible while still being sturdy; there’s some sort of…hoop(?) around the top edge to maintain the shape and hold it open for when you’re playing basketball with your dirty socks.Basically, it’s the greatest thing ever made and if everyone in the world had one there’d never be war.
I purchased as a gift for a nature themed nursey. The item is well made and very cute. It’s not super sturdy but it’s made of fabric.
This is well made, it looks nice but I should have looked at the dimensions more carefully. Itâs really too small to be a laundry basket. It doesnât hold an entire load.
The design is very cute although Iâve been having trouble straightening it out but I still love it I also like how itâs somewhat collapsible
