Keeps puzzle pieces in place
This puzzle mat is awesome. It keeps the puzzle pieces in place and the four containers that hold the puzzle pieces are an added bonus. After you roll it up the Velcro strips hold it securely I would recommend this product.

Helps to keep puzzle pieces safe
The mat is large enough for a 1000 piece puzzle having the different size trays is a help with sorting it all out. No pieces have gone missing yet!!!
Useful, but could be better
My wife has been into puzzles a lot lately, and making puzzles on the kitchen table isn’t always very convenient – complex puzzles can’t be finished in one go, so “saving your work” and “re-opening it” the next time is useful – this allows that with rolling of the puzzle partly assembled. Pros : useful, saves your work, inflatable noodle works surprisingly well, can be stashed in the carry bag. Makes colorful puzzle pieces stand out against black. Cons: darker puzzle pieces are hard to distinguish against the black felt. It is also somewhat tough to slide pieces around on the felt, as they “stick” in the felt. It’s both a blessing (keeps things from moving around) and a curse (harder to move pieces around and pick them).A back side of the felt that would be light gray or white would be very useful (you reverse it according to the image your doing), and bit smoother felt would work better. Still decent for the price!

Puzzel mat
I did not like this mat, it does not lay flat therefore the pieces don’t stay together. I give it a 2 and will now order the wooden one.

The puzzle stays in place!
I was a bit skeptical about the ability of the cloth mat to keep the tiny puzzle pieces in place even after rolling it and putting it in its bag, but it works surprisingly well! We did a 1000 pieces puzzle and are doing another with smaller pieces. I love that we can use the mat with or without the lines (we just flip it on the preferred side) and the sorters are very handy. Highly recommended!
