A very simple kit, but covers a lot of areas that are supportive to the learning process
Wanted a simple activity to help work on the alphabet & counting with the little one. I like that these are very simple, yet manage to have a few helpful learning tools. The puzzle aspect encourages analytical thinking, and problem solving, motor skills as well as patience & concentration. And then there are visual learning tools with the images in addition to the numbers and letters. Furthermore, the imagery is showing and inspiring thought on how to use each letter and number. These visual cues make the lessons much easier to remember.Fairly impressed with the wide range of angles this simplistic activity helps to engage them in learning. There are many ways, and some children may be more receptive to some ways than others. But my experience with this set thus far has been that it has been quite handy and enjoyable without over complicating anything and offering some practical uses of each item learned.Likes:- A nice visual and active learning utility without being overly complex or demanding.- Thick card stock makes them pretty durable. Handy for the little ones. Also helps keep it a bit easier for them to work with.Dislikes:- Some pieces weren’t cut exactly right and had chips. Not a big deal. Didn’t inhibit functionality.

Not enough difference in knob shapesâ¦they fit where they shouldn’t
Great concept. So much about it is really well done. Unfortunately, the pieces are cut in a way that there’s not enough difference in the knob shapes, which allows for pieces to fit together that don’t go together. Two 5-year-olds were excited to try these puzzles. One became frustrated and gave up quickly when he couldn’t figure out which piece (sometimes pieces) was in the wrong place. The other had more tenacity, patience, and problem solving skills and stuck with it longer. Such a shame, as more attention to the cutting pattern would have made a stellar 5-star product.
Fun educational game
This is a perfect game for preschoolers or even kindergarten. It’s both fun and educational. My son had a blast doing all the puzzles and putting them in order.I did notice that the quality of some of the puzzles was not so perfect – meaning they weren’t cut quite right. Regardless, my son did not notice and it didn’t have an effect on his ability to make the puzzles, so it’s not really a huge deal. I also noticed that when you first open them, there is a strong smell – like a new plastic kind of smell. The smell did go away quickly, but just keep it in mind before you start letting your kids play with these right away.Despite these minor flaws, I’d still recommend this and it would make a cute gift too.
Learning & FUN!
Fun way to work on multiple skills at once without being too overwhelming! These puzzle pieces are easy for little hands to use. Probably best for preschool to kindergarten age children. I love that there are pictures of words beginning with the same sound on each puzzle. This teaches the child the sound and makes that the focus rather than memorizing the name of the letter. Seems well-made and durable. Highly recommend for the classroom or at home learning and fun!
