Absolutely adorable little night light.
I own so many little night lights like this one. They are so adorable. This one is a little unique in how the light shining through the silicone gives off a pink glow. My 5-year-old little niece calls it the ‘pink hippy’. And like any other kid her age she likes to hold and squeeze it.The silicone is soft and flexible like a squeaky toy. Except the hippo doesn’t make sounds. When you squeeze or tap it, the light turns on and off. There is also the option to manually switch the light off, which I recommend doing when the night light isn’t in use.From experience, I’ve noticed that tapping it to shut it off without manually switching it off drains the battery quickly. This is rechargeable and does so in very little time, but it’s nice not to have to charge it more often than I have to.All things considered, this wonderfully adorable night light gets a solid 5 stars.
Cute But Too Sensitive To Movement
This little hippo nightlight is soft and squishy and very cute.On the lowest setting, it’s a nice soft pink glow that is bright enough to still see around you a little bit.The brighter settings are powerful enough to see clearly in the dark although probably not bright enough to read a book.I liked how easy this was to turn on and to adjust the brightness level.You can even just touch the flower on top of the hippo’s head to turn it on.Unfortunately this is very sensitive to movement.When it was on one end of the desk, if you moved something on the other end, it would turn on.It easily turns on if you tap anywhere on the desk it’s sitting on. So you may want to put this on a solid surface that doesn’t get jostled.In one way maybe that makes it handier as you don’t even need to touch it to turn it on.On the other hand, if you are wanting to sleep and keep the room dark, I did find it too easily “startled” on.I was only able to use it one night and it needed to be recharged since it turned on so often.However, it’s fair to note that I used it straight out of the box so I would suggest fully charging it when you receive it unless like me you find it’s too cute to wait to try it out.

This little guy is so cute. Made of very squishable plastic that feels like really good quality, and all the colours are really solid and in the right place. It has 3 brightness levels that you can cycle through with a light tap. Itâs very sensitive so even just putting it down or bumping the table itâs on will activate it. The lowest light is enough for keeping on if you donât like your room super dark at night and the brightest is enough to light up the whole room, especially for eyes that are adjusted to the light. It doesnât seem to collect lint the way that a lot of this type of nightlight do, so that’s a bonus. Charges fairly quickly and easily with USBC.Overall, high quality, adorable nightlight.

I was looking for a bedside table lamp that wasnât big, cumbersome, or likely to topple over, and this little gem is perfect! I absolutely love it! Made from silicone, I donât have to worry about it breaking or falling apart over time. The touch-sensitive feature for switching through three brightness levels is really convenient, though you do have to be careful as itâs very sensitiveâeven a slight bump can change the brightness level. To turn it off, you have to tap all the way through the brightness stages.I also appreciate the on/off/30-minute timer switch and the thoughtful design for charging indicators: a dimming light means it needs a charge, a red light means itâs charging, and a green light means itâs fully charged. Easy to use, simple to adjust, adorably cute
This nightlight is amazingly cute. It is soft to the touch with a gentle red/green glow when it is charging or fully charged plugged in, and with the different brightness levels can light the room or provide a more gentle glow. The soft plastic skin is also easy to dust or clean with just a moist cloth. Fantastic for a child’s room or the wife’s side of the bed 😉
Bright! Shockingly bright, in-fact.
A good night light. Your mileage may vary with the brightness but I found that this night light was surprisingly bright compared to other brands, even on its lowest brightness. Some might find this a feature rather than a flaw, so take it with a grain of salt. The design is cute, the product is smooth and the turning on and off switch is pleasant.Compared to other nightlights of similar design with a silicone body that you squeeze in order to turn on, I also find that the light instantly turns on which might daze you if you’re not prepared. Other lights ease the brightness in.Overall, it’s close to a great product. Everything works as advertised, but there are simply better night lights out on the market.

First the bad, my first order of this light had a pretty bad malfunction where it would constantly change brightness when you turn it on like the sensor was hardcore malfunctioning.I did a return and replace and the new one is working perfectly. Details of this product are great, it’s cute and obviously the manufacturer was thinking of ways to make this extra fun! It has an on and off button so you don’t accidentally turn it on. It also has a lock button where you can’t change the brightness afterwards which is great to hand to a kid to play around without it constantly changing brightness. The timers are a bit long but they work well. The product packaging is something you should never throw away, it’s so incredibly cute with it’s little raccoon pictures on it that in my opinion is part of the lore of this product. I highly recommend this night light!!! Quality! Features! Cute!
The Raccoon Lamp is really cute and soft! It has multiple levels of brightness, a timer and charges via USB-C. There’s even a little mount built-in to hang it on the wall. 🙂 The battery lasts throughout the entire night on low light.
I’ve been using the LED Lamp for a couple of weeks now, and I must say, it has quickly become a favorite in our nursery. This is a very cute night light. It gives off a soft, pleasant light. The piece is soft and flexible and it has a USB cord. I love the raccoon – – while I have yet to see a white one, this critter is adorable! The vintage shop that my husband and I run is named after a raccoon, so I saved this for his birthday.
