Real Talc!
Not sure what some others got when ordering these, but what I got was talc-based, just like J&J’s baby powder used to be before this awful cornstarch silliness started.This was my 2nd order and both were great. I use baby powder every day and I will 100% be sticking with this product. Got exactly what I ordered and expected. Thank you for bringing J&J’s baby powder back to Canada and the U.S.!

Yes, talcum powder, but lavender (not original) scent
I have been a long-time J&J baby powder user, and NOT for babies. As a professional entertainer, this talcum powder is the ONLY powder that will properly ‘set’ clown facepaint. J&J’s current north-american powder crap using cornstarch and/or aloe lotion, etc. is pure garbage and unusable for anything that actually requires real, dry, talc “powder”. I finally located this product on Amazon a year and a half ago and ordered it, and it was EXACTLY the original baby powder with the ‘baby’ scent. But it was from a different vendor than this current batch. This product IS talcum powder, like the original product, but it has a lavender-type scent. And while the scent is not horrible and isn’t overpoweringly strong, it’s not what I was hoping for. And because it’s applied onto the white clown greasepaint on the face, you’re always going to smell it, even though the scent does dissipate after some time. In comparing the containers/packaging to the photos on the vendor’s listing, the photos are NOT what the actual container looks like (original has large pink ‘teardrop’ on front, previous product ordered had a white teardrop, and this product has a purple teardrop. Unfortunately, it’s pretty much impossible to find this baby powder anywhere else, so despite the scent, I’ll be keeping it.

It has real Talc
My wife uses baby powder daily to help keep areas dry and only likes the feel of talc her sensitive skin reacts to the corseness of cornstarch so for the last few years she has been using up the last of what she was able to buy before it was banned in North America. After the worldwide ban she decided it had to be now or never to try to find more to help supply her for awhile. This one does smell a bit more floral then the sensitive one she was using but its not to overbearing and does not trigger migraines, she said this one reminds her of being a kid in the 80s and her grandmas smell more then baby smell but it doesn’t linger to long or make her feel like she smells like an old lady. The talc is really soft, the bottles we received are from Indonesia and tell you that the ingredients are just talc and fragrance. They come packaged in plastic and have the original stickers on the top of the pack. We were wary of buying international items as we didn’t know if they would be fake or not but these seem completely legit and are happy to keep all that arrived.

I use talcum powder for a dry lubricant for sliding wooden parts. This Indonesian-spec talcum powder works out cheaper than the bulk, unscented talc that I used to use. And it smells nice, but _not_ the traditional (North American) baby-powder scent. Would buy again.

This baby powder could be applied to counter the appearance of fatty outbreaks after eating too many sugary/buttery CNY snacks.
