I’ve been a long time customer of Johnson’s lotions, and currently enjoy the J&J Vanilla Oat lotion however, I find the scent very strong. I was hoping this new product would be virtually scent free based on the “lightly scented” claim however, it’s still scented enough to notice as you’re applying it and while it dries. I hope Johnson’s decreases the amount of fragrance even more. It smells like a light floral, and reminiscent of lavender.The texture is another thing I feel could be improved, based on my own preference. The Vanilla Oat lotion has an almost gel like texture, that sinks in very quickly and yet is moisturizing enough (for those with thin textured skin, children, etc). I find this formula thicker and slightly sticky or “grippy” for about a minute or so after applying. That said, it still softens skin beautifully and the softness does last.I appreciate the simple ingredients as wells and will repurchase the Vanilla Oat version occasionally until a fragrance free version is finally released (PLEASE J&J!).
