I am a huge fan of building block kits and this is a really really special one in my collection. I really like building the European architecture style building block kits. There are over 6,600 pieces so this project took me a really long time. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. This church will have a place on honor in my building block collection.
This is a pretty large set to build. So far I will say it is a pretty good kit. Pay attention to the instructions and it goes together pretty easily. It is going to take some time to finish. The parts seem to be well made. I have not noticed any missing pieces so far. These blocks are very small. Not normal lego sized blocks!I have enjoyed the building process with this set!
This is an intricate building set designed for adult builders. The pieces are so small that they are more like swallowing hazards than choking hazards.This is absolutely a 5 star product, but I do have some issues with it.First of all, the pieces are not organized at all. The bags are numbered, but the numbers don’t have anything to do with the order in which they are used. I had to look in about 3-4 different bags to find all the pieces I needed for the first page. Because of this, I would highly recommend users sort ALL the pieces; this will take a long time because of the number of pieces, but it will make it much easier to find what you need.Second, the manual is extremely useful because the top portion shows exactly the type and quantity of pieces needed for that page. However, the quality of the photos are not high quality and I found myself squinting and counting bumps. The majority of the page contains an almost life sized image of where the pieces go on the board.I’d like to think that I’m semi competent when it comes to building sets, but this set is extremely detailed and intricate. I haven’t made very much progress but I’m very satisfied with the experience.I would absolutely recommend this set to others. I am thoroughly enjoying myself and am looking forward to seeing this cathedral come together slowly but surely.
Cool design but definitely smaller than Legos. The pieces are very, very small and that makes building this much more difficult. I would not recommend this for children or those who lack patience. It took a very long time to build and looks cool now that it’s done. However, I wanted to do this with the family, and they all quit helping due to frustration. Models have skill levels. This would be an “expert” level in my opinion.
