The Kalencom Potette Plus Potty and Trainer Seat is pretty darn awesome
The Kalencom Potette Plus Potty and Trainer Seat is pretty darn awesome, I must say. Granted, my son has yet to make use of it as a standalone potty, but it’s great as a seat minimizer! I bought this as a travel potty (duh, I’m pretty sure that’s the whole point), but it’s great to use at home as well. The splash guard isn’t very high, but it does the job as long as my son is positioned far enough back on the seat. It folds quickly and easily, and is super compact, making it perfect for tucking into a diaper bag (which no longer holds diapers,yay!).Regarding the standalone potty configuration: while my son hasn’t used it as such (since we have other standalone potties around the house, and he prefers to use the big toilet anyway), I’ve played around with it, and it seems sturdy enough. The legs lock into place easily, and the grooves at the bottom seem to hold the bags that come with the seat quite well. I haven’t experimented with regular grocery bags yet.The seat is also easy to wipe/spray clean, as there aren’t any hidden crevices to trap moisture and bacteria. The company also makes a reusable liner which I’m interested in trying, as I hate creating more landfill waste.In brief, I love this potty way more than my ridiculously overpriced 3-in-1 non-transportable one!
Exactly as advertised
I’m debating on getting a second one. It’s very good and better than other potty trainers that are 3-in-1 ect. First my daughter feels safe and second it fits all toilets. Also, I like the fact that deposits goes directly into the toilet. I bought a Disney 3-in-1 and their transitional one fell into the toilet making my daughter fall into the toilet as well, very scary, and I felt terrible. If your looking for something to travel and put on top of toilet seats this is the one to get! Hands on best portable potty device ever!

Good product. Well built, good idea. A bit too rigid which makes it difficult to switch from one positioning to the other. But use it a lot and very happy with my purchase!
Must Have
Iâm in my first week of potty training my first child and my first trips out of the house I just brought my regular potty which was annoying to carry around. This was cheap enough that it was worth trying. So glad I did. On the first day she used it at the park and on the toilet at my parents house (which she had yet to try doing even at home). I have two more kids Iâll be potty training in the next 3 years so Iâm sure Iâll get a ton of use out of this. The fact that it folds up so small and easily fits in my diaper bag is amazing!!! Worth every penny!
Easy to travel with
Love that it folds up and can slide under the passenger seat! Took us the better part of a year to discover that you pull the legs down and then fold them in, but even so, we love the convenience of having this in the car. We bought cheap, generic rolls of potty bags to use with it, and it has saved our bacon many a time.
Multipurpose, good quality, but son doesn’t find comfy
I love the far reaching use of this product, but so far, my son finds it uncomfortable to use and doesn’t want to use it…which kind of defeats the purpose.
Best support tool for potty training!
Used this everywhere outside with our little one while we potty trained and it was SUPER useful and easy! She called it the “bush potty” ð ðð½!
