Good Prepatory Info for Potty Trainers
We are starting to introduce the idea of potty training to our 22 month old, but haven’t left diapers yet. I bought a book about Potty Training in 3 Days, and this is an inexpensive way to introduce the idea for your kids in a format they know and like (screen time!). The Daniel Tiger potty video is THE BEST. When ya gotta go, STOP, and go potty! LOL
My son loves this collection!! I had him watch it during his TV time the month before we started potty training, and he responded great! It probably helped that he was already very familiar with the characters. I love how informative and natural the whole subject is for all of the episodes. Within 3 weeks of starting actual training, he was telling me when he had to go and using his potty! I think this show helped him really pick up the process, as he normally has a hard time listening to just Mom.
So my daughter already loves everything PBS so this was a no brainier. She started to sing the songs and over a few months started to go by herself singing the songs in the DVD. Parents, the songs are not that bad and highly suggest that you sing along with them to make it fun for both of you.
My 3 year old has been a pain and not wanting to be potty trained. This video has helped A LOT! He loves to sing some of the songs when he needs to go potty. Itâs a process still, but slowly getting better! ððð
My boys weren’t as entertained with these as much. The episodes were alittle boring if you will. But Daniel tiger is always liked in my household. I’m sure there’s better out there. Maybe a better choice of shows collection would be different story. Could of been better if say.
One year old loves this movie she started to flush the toilet all on her own and became curious about the toilet she will be two very soon she just might be ready to be potty trained soon fingers crossed
