This is a fantastic gift option. The toy is alot of fun. It’s bright and colorful, that really grabs the kids attention. The items go together with ease. Once assembled its pretty sturdy. The balls are a choking hazard due to their size, so you need to be mindful of it. Overall good toy.
Mostly great
I bought this for my grandson and think its a great little toy and lots of fun. I knocked off one star because the marbles don’t stay on the track. After making a slight modification and building a wall beside the last turn, all marbles stay on the track from start to finish.I still recommend the marble run but suggest that you have extra lego pieces on hand for ease of use.

Two kids 9 and 5I have been doing marble runs with my oldest son for at least 5 years, some simple and some very elaborate, this marble run is a present for my 5 year oldThis is a very cute and small set, there are no major complicated switchovers or track features, it has a couple of cute features in the dino, giraffe, spin bowl and window, but these do not add to play features, they are simple but they do look good and add to the game. A key feature of this set is that it is small it takes up very little space once assembled, which is great for parents who are always fighting toy space in their houseThere are two aspects to a marble run, build ability and play ability…For Play Ability this is suitable for ages 3 to 7, the run when completed (regardless of the which model you build) is very short and again it is a straight track run without features like elevators, track switching etc… but the spin bowl adds some element of surprise and chance.For Build Ability, this is suitable for 6 to 8 year old, unless you have an experienced Lego builder who can follow the instruction booklet, this is a minor build for an experienced child Lego builderThe pieces are standard fit, I have not checked if they are interchangeable with other type blocks as it would not really matter as the point is the simplicity of this setMarble runs are great, they provide huge challenges and thought provoking involvement for any child, even if they are only just watching the end result from a play ability perspectiveJust understand, this is a very simplistic marble run, but it can also be a great development tool for young minds, and in my case big brother can always lend a hand and help out.Nice and colorful, easy block connections, satisfaction after build to see how it works, takes up littlespaceGreat mid level Xmas gift depending on your budget

Fun once assembled!
My daughter is 3 years old and while this set is marketed at her age level and up, it’s a bit advanced for her at this time when it comes to building it as you need to follow a pattern. With help from me, we managed to put it together and it was a great bonding time for us both. Once assembled, she had a lot of fun watching the “marbles” roll along the track we made and found it exciting when they would spin inside the bowl before finally dropping down into the track. It’s a great toy and a good value at $44.98 at the time of this review. There is also a 12% off coupon you can apply for a discount.

My son is obsessed with marble run games and videos and this item was an immediate hit with him. He absolutely loves it. It was easy to assemble and the pieces stay connected during regular play, the balls don’t always stay on the track, but it’s no big deal. The only thing is that it is definitely much smaller than the pictures make it seem but still a good size for younger kids. Duplo-sized blocks. The marbles are too small for kids who still may put them in their mouth though. Picture is just to show size.
Loved that this was fun for both my grandsons ages 5 and 2 1/2. It did require mom and dadâs help assembling it.
Good Quality Easy to assemble
This is a really fun idea and my son loves it, but it has a couple of flaws. First of all, it comes with two separate âgrassâ pieces that are the foundation for the blocks, and the only thing connecting them is one block that is placed partially on both pieces. You build the entire thing on both pieces, but without more connections in the seam, if you try to lift it then it can easily fall apart. I would say just donât move it, but my son likes to take it to quiet time to play with and I have to move it, but when heâs done with quiet time he likes to have it in the living room, so Iâm moving it all day. The second problem is the pieces donât fit together very tightly, so if you barely bump it, the whole thing will collapse. My son can get frustrated easily, and this isnât something he can put back together by himself since he is only 4, so he ends up getting very upset when the dinosaur pops off or the pieces that float in the air get bumped and fall apart. As I mentioned he takes this to quiet time, so Iâm going in there like 20 times to fix it because he accidentally bumped it and it fell apart. Otherwise itâs a great toy. Iâm not really even upset about the foundation pieces, I just wanted to mention for anyone concerned, itâs more the fact that the pieces are unstable and donât stick tightly enough together. I have actual mega blocks as well and they stick together better than these, so I know itâs not just the fact that theyâre much larger than legos. Itâs very fun to roll the marbles when itâs assembled and itâs fun to assemble different courses, so itâs worth a try if you can deal with it sometimes falling apart.
