My favourite purée system and mom tips!
Full disclosure: my twins are still just breastfeeding but I bought this product to start prepping purées for when they start eating solids next month.I honestly haven’t found the lid to be problematic as other reviewers have found. There are little “lips” you just have to pull out and around the edges of the tray – it has not yet been a source of frustration in the least. Also, I haven’t found the tray to be flimsy at all – seems stable enough, doesn’t sag while transferring from counter to freezer but I’m sure to place it on a level surface.The way I use this is to freeze purees for 5-8 hours then pop out and transfer to ziplock freezer bags for longer term storage, to free up the trays for further use. Has been working well so far. Cubes are a nice portion size and easy to pop out. Do not stain even with beets and blueberries on the light yellow colour.I also like that I can sterilize the product – after washing with soap and water and rinsing, I fill the wells with some water, put on the lid, then microwave for 3 min. Just remove carefully to avoid steam burns afterward.I have tried 3 food prep/storage systems so far and this is my favourite. I like it so much that I’ve ordered 2 additional trays.

I am truly impressed with how easy these trays were to use for my son’s baby food prep. The 2 different measurements came in handy and cleaning them was a breeze. I loved how simple it was to just “pop” out the frozen food once ready to be moved into my freezer safe containers. You can tell that they are made to be used over and over and feel really durable. I’m SO happy with these and will be using them a lot more down the road. The Kiddo Feedo company is wonderful, responding to email inquiries right away and sending great tips and info to assist with optimizing the trays. Thanks for making such a useful product!!
Little mess involved!
We love this prep product. We received the e-book very quickly. The frozen baby food also easily pops out with no mess. My husband and I are both really impressed with this product.We’ve been using this for a few months now and it is still in excellent condition. I haven’t used the e-book much because I have a separate baby food book I’ve been using but this has been really helpful in storing. We freeze the contents and then pop it out in a plastic bag with a label. It is the perfect portion for our baby and the frozen portion sizes easily thaw in our fridge. I highly recommend this if you plan on making your own baby food.
Works great for baby puree food – but has a bit of a weird smell
We got that to freeze baby puree in individual portions – and it works great for what it’s supposed to do. Cleans well, and the top cover prevents spills and freeze drying. Only thing that is a bit annoying is the chemical smell that never really left the tray even after several wash-fill-freeze cycles. Nothing that reaches concerning levels, but it still has that bit weird “new silicone” smell even after few years. Keep that in mind when purchasing. Otherwise, works as advertised. If the cups are filled to the edge, it may be a bit challenging to remove the frozen food afterward. Fill to 4/5th for best results.

Great product! Item is as pictured! Very pleased as this product is dishwasher, oven, and freezer safe. Perfect for DIY baby food! Also emailed to me was a PDF list of foods that freeze well, do not freeze well, foods that store well in chunks, and vitamins that these foods contain. Loved the product and Kiddo Feedo customer service. This company has emailed me with information relating to the product like previously stated, also just to check up to ensure 100% satisfaction, would definitely recommend to friends!
Fantastic product
I’ve tried a couple different freezer trays for baby food, and this one is by far my favourite. Really easy to get the cubes out, really easy to wash, and the tray holds more in each cube than any other one I’ve found. It takes about half a day to freeze fully, so I typically make a bunch of purees and store them in the fridge until my cubes are frozen, then I transfer them to a freezer bag and freeze my next batch of food. Rinse and repeat. Perfect!

I LOVE my these storage containers! I have been using them for about 4 months and they are brilliant.Easy to clean, easy to use (the food pops right out!) my only criticism is that I wish they offered a 1oz version instead of just a line in the 2oz. At the price/quality, I would have no issue purchasing 2 different sizes. And I can use the smaller ones as an ice tray later.However, even with that criticism I understand that the company was trying to save its customers money by having a 2-in-1 so I can respect that decision.I highly recommend this product!
Ok product
These are not bad but when I used it to freeze some liquids it took a bit of arm muscle to individually pop out the completely frozen pucks. I liked the idea of the lid but in reality it is a bit flimsly so you will need a bit of patience to secure it properly. The packaging for the item was also a bit worn (item must have been tossed around) but overall the product is ok but nothing spectacular.
Me pareció muy bueno. El tamaño es muy versátil ya que es de 2 onzas y sirve hasta para hacer paletas. Hice la prueba con agua para ver que el material no desprenda nada y me fue muy bien. Aunque es de silicon la base tiene mucha firmeza por lo que no se deforma al manipularlo. Me encantó

I bought these for making xl ice cubes for my water bottle, and also for making my own yoghurt ice cream. It gives me 9 perfectly sized ‘scoops’ of ice cream.It doesn’t leak (neither with yoghurt, nor with water), so no water trail on the floor from the sink to the freezer when I have to refill it. And the cubes are super easy to get out of the mould thanks to the flexible silicone.
