Perfect for Toddler
This is exactly what we were looking for. We wanted something small we could use at our cottage for a few toys and books for our toddler. It’s the perfect size for her to access everything on it. It was fairly easy to put together, just a little time consuming. It’s fairly study once assembled.
Keeps things organized
First I got this for my granddaughter for Christmas to go with the things that are going with it.Of course I had top open it up and have a look to see what I am going to get my self into or her Dad is (good luck to him..lol) There are a lot of pieces and some of them are metal. I was concerned at first but after going over all the pieces and putting some of them together I was less concerned.This Bookcase / Toy shelf is well made. The shelves are wood and the front is fabric to hold everything in place. There are no sharp edges to worry about on the metal. (If there was I would have found one).This is really good for any kids room to hold there book and some favorite toys.
Perfect
Great size for my small nursery, but still able to fit a lot of things on it. Easy to assemble and feels pretty sturdy but we’ll see how it holds with time. Fresh out the package pretty happy with it.
PICTURES ARE MISLEADING
Yes, there are measurements, and yes, did measure, but the way the pictures/animations are shown make this item look a lot larger than it is. (ie the picture beside a bed, must be a doll bed or something) It’s also very cheap quality, lots of paint chips and nicks.
I added the bins but the shelf does not come with them.
I ordered this bookshelf for my home daycare, and itâs perfect! Unlike my previous bookshelf, this one doubles as a toy organizer, which is exactly what I needed. I wanted something smaller to accommodate a few toys and books since I already have a larger unit. Itâs the perfect size for toddlers and was fairly easy to assemble.After seeing how well it worked for my daycare, I’m planning to order another one for my grandchildren, who love it. There are quite a few pieces, some of which are metal, but my initial concerns faded after assembling it and realizing how sturdy it is.This bookcase/toy shelf is well-made. The shelves are wooden, and the front is fabric, keeping everything secure. There are no sharp edges on the metal parts, which is a big plus.Overall, this shelf is great for any kids’ room to hold books and favorite toys. My experience has been very positive, and I highly recommend it!
Poor quality wood
Itâs very small as compared to the size shown. Most importantly, the wood material is very brittle and breaks when you assemble it. Actually when you insert screws, the holes get damaged as you screw them. I was scared the whole time when I was assembling that it would break and then I decided to return it. For this price, itâs too cheap quality.
Good for a childâs room
Itâs good for a childâs room because it is short so they can reach the shelves. Also , it can hold not just books but toys and stuffies. However not too much weight , it will begin to sag and things can get out of control really quickly. Sturdy enough to stand alone but I would want it more heavy duty.
Taking little space, with plenty of compartments for storage, and accessible for little ones
I had the opportunity to test out a kidsâ bookshelf and toy storage unit. Overall, my experience has been very positive. The entire set, with its storage pockets, is a well-thought-out product. The quality of the material and craftsmanship is excellent. The only issues I encountered were with two misaligned, pre-drilled holes on the top horizontal shelf unit, which needed to be redone.Assembling it was a breeze. I recommend using powered hand tools instead of the provided hex wrench due to the sheer number of screws used in this shelf. Once assembled, the metal and wood structure felt strong and sturdy. Each piece of the shelf components, as well as the screws, is labeled. The instructions are illustrated and easy to follow. A nylon fastener is provided in the package, which should be attached to the back of the unit and the wall to prevent the shelf from tipping over.We use the shelf to store toys and books before and after bath time, but it can definitely handle heavier items. This unit takes up very little space while offering storage compartments for materials of various sizes and forms. It has the perfect, accessible height for little ones, from infants to preschool kids. I think this is a keeper.
I ordered this bookshelf for my great nephew’s nursery. It’s just perfect! It holds books, bins, toys, and stuffies alike. Nice piece of furniture! Five stars!!
Perfect size for a little one, sturdy, good value for the money and pretty easy to assemble.
This comes with a lot of pieces to assemble and the materials aren’t the best quality. However, once assembled, it does serve its purpose and is very kid-friendly.It doesn’t look as nice as shown in the listing photos. The book slings and side pouch are more tan/cream looking compared to the white shelves. It’s kind of an awkward contrast in colors and I would prefer the fabric material of the slings to be white. I would have also preferred the book slings and the side pouch to have been made out of plastic rather than fabric. I think this would give it a more sturdy, clean, and uniform look.Still, the overall size is great for young kids and it’s a fun little spot to store their books, plushies, and some toys. My 6 year old didn’t have anywhere to store his books and plushies, so this has helped clean up his room a little bit, giving these items a place to live when he’s not using them.
This bookshelf is holing my craft books -it is in my quilting room – it has plenty of space for my craft books – and the pocket on the side holds a kitten. It was easy to put together and easy on the eyes. it holds my craft books at eye level when i am sewing= reminding me of crafts not yet started.
I am excited to use this as a combination shelf and book display in my kindergarten classroom. Itâs a great spot to house my teacher books for read-aloud as well as our marble jar, popsicle sticks, pointers, and other random things that I need close by. Itâs cute and is a nice size.The assembly directions were adequate. I put it together fine by myself, though I found some of the pieces didnât line up just right. I did get it to work but it took some extra elbow grease. Iâm not sure what to use the little pocket on the side for yet. Iâm sure Iâll come up with something, but I like that it can be removed if I end up not using it.
