Look and weight are perfect but missing support feet
I love the look of this fireplace screen but the support feet were not included in the package.
Missing parts
Nice screen, but didnt include the door handles and support legs. Hope to receive these soon from the seller, considering this item cost over 100 bucks.
Stabling foot had bad solder points.
One of the stabilizing feet broke which made the screen unstable.
We have three dogs and didn’t want them near the fire. This screen fits flush to the fireplace and the doors stay shut with magnets. Easy to open and toss another log on.
STURDY : First of all, is this sturdy and stable? Yes. The weight is quite nice, it has adequate leg support that it feels safe. You can open the doors without tilting the entire unit. The doors are magnetic close which is a nice touch.DOORS : Doors are nice because you donât have to move the entire screen every time you tend to the fireASSEMBLY : Almost none to speak of. The legs come separate but less than 5 minutes to assemble.QUALITY : It feels well made but time will tell honestly. So no representation there.LOOKS : 8 out of 10 for me. The body is excellent. The curve on the legs is a tad old school.
This screen came quickly, was easy to put together (despite the microscopic print directions), and was the perfect fit for my fireplace. I like the magnetic closure & the fact it went flush against the marble surround. That said, itâs pretty basic & seems pricey for what it is. All I kept thinking as I was putting it together was that the Chinese have to be laughing all the way to the bank.
Loved this product, it fit exactly into my space. Installation of the feet and handles took about 5 minutes to install. The magnet holds the doors closed well. I have only used it for decor so far, I havenât used my fireplace so it worked perfectly for my desires. I will update once I use it with a fire.
Built the first fire six weeks ago. Today the tiny spot welds on legs failed. Maybe made 20 fires. Totally disappointed with product. Will need to find someone that can weld legs. It did look and work well up until now.
