Hands down the best cushion for large office chairs
Premise: my almost 4 year old leather office chair is at the end of its life and the seat has pretty much lost its cushion (i.e. it’s flat). In order to make do with my chair I needed to find an actual good seat cushion instead of the pillow I’ve been using.I’ve bought many of these memory foam seat cushions from Amazon and had to return all of them because they were either too firm, too small, had weird designs, and just didn’t match the contours of my big office chair; those ones clearly had other purposes to them (i.e. designed for medical issues with the spine or something). This, however, was not one of them.This one’s noticeably on the softer side, yet it does not sink down and compress to your weight. Soft yet bouncy is what I’d describe the feeling, which is perfect in emulating the soft bouncy/springy cushioning of some high-end office chairs (e.g. Serta Hensley).Not only that, but this cushion is the only one that conforms perfectly to the shape and size of my seat. The rounded contours at the back and sloped front really helps make it the perfect seat cushion for office chairs (and definitely for gaming chairs as well).Everyone has their own specific needs, but if you’re like me: just a regular guy who needs to find a more comfier seat cushion for their big and tall office chair (or gaming chairs), than this cushion is the one. I’d highly recommend this one.

Nice but not height boosting
It’s nice and seems well sewn. I could see it making a worn chair more comfortable. The foam, however, collapses under pressure and began to flatten within a week. The intended use was to lift the chair user a few inches to meet their desk height, but it fell short.

It is big and flat, but not very firm.
I needed a cushion that would be big enough to cover the whole seat and also wanted one that is flat with no ergo shaping built in. This fits both those criteria, but the main issue I have with this one is that the foam is too soft. The cushion provides some extra padding but it would be better with a high density more ridged foam. Overall it is pretty decent, but if you are looking for something that is firm, this probably isn’t the one.

My husband had knee replacement surgery and needed a chair for recovery that wasn’t too low in order to avoid strain on the knees. We didn’t want to buy a new chair, so we used this cushion to elevate the seat of a contemporary leather recliner that looks good, but is the absolute wrong chair for post knee surgery recovery. The addition of the cushion worked great: it was comfortable and also made the seat of the chair high enough that he could get up and down easily without assistance.The material is soft to the touch, and the construction is durable. It’s a good value for the price.
