We received the sponge today. First, the package wasn’t sealed.The sponge is quite a bit firmer and more abrasive than a sponge you’d use for babies.There is also a perfectly cylindrical hole through the sponge. Clearly this was meant to be affixed to something and used as a shower/bath scrubby.My guess is these are waste sponges that couldn’t or weren’t used when producing such products and are being marketed and sold as “baby sponges”.
We love our sea sponges so much we have two of them; one for momma and one for baby! I love that theyâre authentic and picked straight off the coast. Weâve had ours for over six months and it has yet to deteriorate or lose its form. Itâs firm when dry and soft when wet which allows for a nice gentle scrub. Lastly, when you put your body wash directly on the sea sponge and run water over the two, it creates the most lather and suds Iâve ever seen, making this the perfect bath time tool! The video attached is from a bathtub photo shoot we did with our youngest.
This sea sponge is so soft! I bought one for all my kids and myself included! Doesnât lose its integrity after a few times as well.
We have been using our sea sponge for a couple weeks now and we love it! It is holding up so well and still looks exactly like it did the day we got it. Itâs so soft and my babe loves it. I feel confident with it being sanitary unlike all the wash clothes I got when he was first born. Thanks for making such amazing products Kyte Baby!!!
I liked it a lot! Sadly my Yorkie loved it. Delicious! Canât chance stomach surgery so . . . It was great while it lasted!!!
Amazing for the skin and definitely for babies gentalskin but very fragile.First time using it and it already tore apart.Very sad about that but it is definitely soft and nice to use for sensitive skin.
