While the box arrived kind of beat up, the product inside was in perfect condition. I really trust the Lansinoh brand because I feel like each product I get from them is high quality. These bottles are no exception; they’re super functional while super easy to clean.Each bottle feels sturdy and has a wide mouth to make it easy to pour in product or clean. The plastic is thick, but the star of the show is the nipple. It’s made of thick, high quality silicone that is super pliable and has a long, narrow nipple that lactation specialists recommended for babies to get a deep latch similar to breast feeding. I also love how the vent is built in unlike other anti-colic bottle where you have to separate the vent piece; it’s just one less thing to clean and worry about.Overall, great all around bottles and at $23.99 CAD the time of writing this, I think it’s a great choice over competitors in the same price range for the nipple alone.
An Ideal Choice For Baby’s First Bottle
Our daughter recently gave birth to her third child. While she plans to breast feed her baby, there are, of course, times when using a bottle is pretty much a necessity. Besides, the babyâs two sisters really want to be able to âhelp outâ and feed the baby themselves once in a while. In the end, knowing they would be well used, we ordered this set of three bottles.When the set arrived, my daughter was suitably impressed. The bottles and, more importantly, the nipples they came with, were specifically designed and sized for young babies. Not only do they provide a slow flow rate of milk, they allow baby to use the same feeding patterns with a bottle that they use while breast feeding. The fact that it was named âBest Overall Baby Bottleâ, by the New York Times subsidiary, Wirecutter, provides assurance that these bottles were a good choice.My wife and I were impressed with the attention that was paid to detail in the design of the bottles. The 100% silicone nipples are suitably soft and come with a protective cap for keeping them clean, the product is free of BPA and BPS, everything is dishwasher safe, and the unit is easy to fill. It should be noted that, while this set comes with three slow flow nipples, the medium and fast flow nipples can be purchased on Amazon without having to buy additional bottles.I was quite intrigued with the idea that the bottleâs ventilation system can release air from the nipple and help prevent gas and colic. While my daughter is very impressed with the bottles, her verdict is still out as to whether or not this bottle makes a significant difference in avoiding these problems.I can see why these bottles were selected for a best baby bottle award. Designed specifically for young babies, they possess features that should ensure an easy transition to bottle feeding. My daughter is already convinced that they are, indeed, the best baby bottles she has ever used and the babyâs siblings are delighted that they can have a turn feeding baby occasionally too. Small easy to handle Baby Bottles.
This 3 pack of 5 Ounce Baby Bottles are a good and easy to handle size. I like that they do not tip over as easy as the traditional tall bottles. The 5 Ounce portion size is more suited for the less than a year olds. The measurements are clearly written on the side of the bottle.These bottles are the small flow rate nipples so these are more meant for newborns. The slope of the nipple is more gentle and it mimics a natural nipple. It is also semi soft to help form to the inside of your little ones mouth.
Great but didnât work for me
Iâll start by saying this is definitely one of the nicer bottles that Iâve tried. Itâs really easy to clean, and is the most transitional between breast and bottle. If you have a baby thatâs breast-feeding this might be the best option for you. Iâve tried other bottles and unfortunately my son would constantly be spilling, this is the only bottle we tried where he would drink the full bottle and nothing would be spilling out of his mouth. Because of all these factors I really wanted to love this but unfortunately it just did not work for us. It gave my son really really bad colic, he had terrible gas pain for the two days that we used it and as soon as we switched back to our other bottles he was better. Mind you the other bottles he does spill a lot but for some reason with these ones he would swallow more air. I do know that a lot of moms didnât have this problem so you would have to try them, but they didnât work for me.
