If you are going to have a baby, you NEED this!It heats up quickly in the microwave, or you can freeze it! Helps to prevent mastitis and other breastfeeding issues!! Comes with awesome soft covers that have buttons on them. The buttons click together and it turns the pads into perfect circles with a hole in the middle. I slide my medela breast pump flanges through the middle hole and boom! Instant heat pack to help with let-down thatâs attached to the pump! Soooooo convenient!I only wish I had bought two sets – one for the freezer and one for heat for when I needed to alternate!
The best for sore boobs
Definitely need these for the first bit when your breasts are engorged and you are super sore. I had clogged ducts and then got mastitis and these were LIFE SAVING to me.
Works but doesnât last long
Helpful for soothing breasts (third trimester); however the hot/cold lasts about 20-30 minutes and then you need to reheat/refreeze.

It helps so much with let downs and opening clogged ducts.

I received the package completely opened and torn. It would have been much better if I had purchased it from stores.
Too difficult and inconvenient to use
I wouldnt call this product for nursing because it doesnt fit comfortably in you breast. However, it does heat up super fast so I will probably use this for other purposes.

I use these pads as a heat compress to help yield a greater letdown while pumping, and I’ve found them to be very useful for that purpose. They fit well around my pump flanges and can be snapped in place to prevent slipping, which is especially helpful for holding the pump parts in place when using a hands-free pumping bra. My only complaint is that they are limited in how warm they can become. The instructions say to microwave them a maximum of 25 seconds, and can only do so in 5-10 second intervals. For this reason they can be a pain to heat up and I I’ve found that 25 seconds really doesn’t get them as warm as I would like. Would be so much better if I could heat them 30-45 seconds and all in one round, rather than doing multiple 10 second bursts. Oh well. It’s inconvenient, but ultimately they do their job, so overall I’m happy.
