A little wobbly perhaps, we have it leaning a bit against the crib. I wish it were taller so that it could be turned over the change table as well. I couldnt find anything better though. A tall, swivel, adjustable stand would have been great! This is easy to put together though. Seems expensive for what it is though. Looks good with my little mobile though. Wouldnt recommend for big or long mobiles.
This is the perfect way to offer rattles at a variety of settings – changing table, crib, and bed. Unfortunately, the quality of this piece is really bad. The contraption is made of several pieces that have are fitted together with a screw like mechanism. But these joints are badly constructed and dont actually form a secure lock. Due to this the entire structure wobbles and bends dangerously. It’s also rather challenging to move it, defeating the purpose of the tool.
All seemed great until the final piece of the stand was installed and we noticed the hook was mounted on the wrong side, effectively pointing directly up at the sky and rendering the entire product useless.
The order has arrived without all the correct parts, and each bit of wood is an entirely different shade of wood. Very disappointed overall, after quite a long wait for delivery.
I notice a lot of the attachable mobile hangers are too low and this is a perfect height for mobiles. Sturdy, easy to put together, well made.
We got a beautiful crib as a gift from my in-laws as well as a super cute mobile from a friend at our baby shower. I knew a mobile stand that clamped onto the crib was just going to ruin the crib and I didnât want a wall mounted one in case we chose to change the layout of the nursery. As you can see in the pictures, itâs still a work in progress. I decided to go with a stand like this. It matching his room and the crib perfectly.Things to note that werenât deal breakers for me, but could be fire other people:- This did not come with instructions. My husband and I figured it out very easily without, itâs a straight forward design. However, if youâre the type of person who needs directions to assemble stuff, this product didnât come with instructions.- The stand isnât adjustable. It ended up being perfect for our set up. The only thing is the string on our mobile was a little too long so I had to knot it a couple times to shorten it, but that was more of a mobile issue than a stand issue. This could not be so perfect for another person so I suggest you measure before you buy.- Itâs not super sturdy. Perfect for something ultra light like a mobile, but I wouldnât trust it for anything else. I had the thought of maybe using it has a plant hanger after our baby is done using it, but Iâm not convinced itâll hold the weight of a plant.
