I wish I had found this product years ago. I am on my fourth baby and struggle with clogged milk ducts every time. Severely clogged like entire 2â x 2â patches of clogs. I was worried this wouldnât be strong enough or high enough heat, but I havenât even used it in the shower and it gently coaxes the milk out of the clogged ducts. If I could give it 10 stars I would
I’ll start with the cons: the placement of the buttons makes it easy to push while using the product so then the settings change without purposely changing them. Also the heat level of the product is not very strong. Takes awhile to feel the heat in my opinion. Other than those I like the feel of it and the strength of the vibration. It was able to unclog a milk duct that was painful which was why I bought it.
I was having an issue where one side just didnât want to let the milk go. Using this with the warmer before and during pumping got it to let down and fully empty which is amazing because I was afraid of getting mastitis. The pointed end is great for working on a particular duct and the heat isnât crazy high so I donât have to worry about burning myself accidentally while being enough to provide some relief. I havenât found any of the different vibration patterns to really help one way or another, really they all seem to do the same thing. The battery life is actually really good. Iâve been able to use it for a couple days on a single charge. The texture of the device is also very soft so it slides over the skin nicely without feeling like itâs pulling on the skin. Itâs also small so fits in a purse if you want to take it with you for on the go pumping as well, very portable.
I got this as it had such high reviews in lieu of the Frida one that I had with my first child. The unit is soft, comfortable, and portable. For me, the unit seems very slow to heat up. The vibration feels nice, but it is incredibly loud. I would not be able to use this while working and taking meetings. The size and shape makes it very obvious itâs in your bra through the shirt. Also, the buttons are very easily pressed, so when I am moving the unit around in my bra, I constantly have to click the buttons to get back to my preferred settings. I wish I had stuck with the massager that I knew, but I guess I will make do with this one. As for value for money, I would go with another item. Its drawbacks and only being one unit, makes it not worth the money.
I have a history of clogged ducts so I bought this for when it would happen again. The next morning after I got it I had a clogged duct. I used vibration and heat while baby nursed, it absolutely worked. I would recommend this to anyone.
