This baby monitor has great video quality, including in low light and complete darkness thanks to its good night vision. It has good two way communication, which is great for interacting with your child from anywhere in the house, and it has an impressive range and long battery life. It comes with a hard carrying case, and the secure local connection doesn’t need WiFi or internet, which is really nice. However, it can’t record video, as there’s no memory card slot or cloud recording option, which is unfortunate.

Great Secure Baby Monitoring Screen and Camera
First thing I noticed when I was about to open the box are the security seals on both sides so you know no one has tampered with the shipping box and inside the box, a plastic bag also has a security seal.Inside the plastic bag is a nice protective hard carrying case for the camera, screen, accessories and there is also room for a second camera if needed.My first impression even before first use is of a great product as Camera and Screen look to be of a very high quality and don’t look cheap like many of the security cameras I have used, both are made of a solid plastic.I connected the screen to one of the included AC USB power adapters to charge the internal battery, as it is recommended to charge for 7 hours before first use. Charge will last 22 hours.Once the screen was fully charged, I connected the camera to another of the included AC USB power adapters making sure it is not in the same room as the screen not to have feedback audio.On top of the screen is the power button and once I turned on the screen it immediately connected to the camera which was about 20 feet away and I had a perfect image with audio of what was happening in that room.On the front of the screen is a zoom button that allows two zoom levels, a navigation pad that allows panning Left/Right and Up/Down and also menu button to access all the features available. Pressing once opens the Menu and the Navigation buttons are used to access and configure features.- Lullabies: Off, 5 Lullabies, plus birds, ocean and white noise- Voice Activation: Off, Low, Med and High- Monitor Brightness: 8 Levels- Viewing Mode: 1 or 2 Cameras- Camera Pairing: Add Camera here- Settings: 11 options, Temperature, Clock, Language, Timer, Alert, LED, Night Vision, Invert Camera Image, Support and ResetThere is also a Mic button to talk with other person in the room. This is used by a parent to communicate with a baby, which I tested with my spouse. Press Mic Button to talk and depress to listen.On the back of the screen is a built in Metal Stand to support and view screen and a speaker to hear audio.On the right side of the screen is the Audio Volume +/- button with 8 levels and the Micro-USB charging port.On the screen itself is a crystal clear image from the Camera with a bar above the image with Wireless Connection Strength, Time, Sound Level, Temperature, Camera Number (1 or 2) and Battery Level.Camera Buttons and Functions:- Antenna- Temperature- Micro-USB Power Port- Speaker- IR Sensor- Microphone- Camera Lens- Camera Pairing- Power LEDThis is very easy to Setup, Configure and Use as once Screen and Camera are connected they immediately work together. Reliable 2 Camera Baby Monitor
The 2-camera version of the Levana Ella Video Baby Monitor is a great choice for monitoring multiple rooms or angles. The 720P HD cameras provide a clear view, and the 5-inch screen makes it easy to switch between both feeds. The pan, tilt, and zoom features work smoothly, and the two-way talk is a useful feature for quick reassurance. Battery life is impressive, lasting up to 22 hours on a single charge, and the range is good at up to 1000ft. I’m giving it 4 stars because I experienced occasional signal drops when switching between cameras. Overall, it’s still a solid, dependable option for parents.

I have been using this camera and monitor for several months now and it is just an amazing set! First off I’d like to mention that it is rated as an indoor camera and not waterproof to the degree that it could be rained on continuously. That being said, I have used this exclusively outdoors on my front porch for many months with absolutely no problems or concerns. Pretty much the day I got it I went out to my front porch and screwed in one screw on the bottom inside of the eve, then simply pushed the camera into place and it locked in first try. I was waiting for a package to arrive the next day and figured it would be a good fast test, but little did I know that I was going to leave it there ever since to watch my front porch and mailbox. I just plugged it into the outlet on my outdoor sconce and plugged in the monitor and it immediately worked perfectly out of the box. I did have to change the setting so it could look downwards, but as with all of the setting it was very easy to do.As I said every setting was very easy, including sound volume to listen to as well as speaking through the the cam itself (my voice isn’t very loud but works good). The brightness is easy to adjust as well as direction that the cam faces, and I adjust it through the monitor around all day every day with no problems. I can here everything outside going on perfectly and easily glance around at nearly 360 degrees. It doesn’t need wifi or LTE so it operates fast and smooth no matter what and has a decent distance it can reach. There’s no app to install or connect to your phone, but it’s perfect for viewing within your yard with out need to connect to a phone. That may be the only downside that you can’t remotely view it, but I love it anyway.I could really go on for days on how much I love this pair of devices, so I’ll just say that I really do recomend this item whether for watching after your children or pets indoors or using it in an outdoor covered space. It may be more expensive than other options, but it has completely outdone every other outdoor camera that I’ve owned and used.

We use this system to keep an eye on our energetic five-year-old with special needs. He’s outgrown the baby monitor stage and now has a playroom in addition to his bedroom, both of which he can access throughout the day. Since I work from home and can’t always be with him, this system is perfect for monitoring him. You know the saying—when kids get quiet, that’s when you should worry! We have one camera in his bedroom and another in the main play area. The cameras can rotate back and forth on the screen, or you can focus on just one. You can also reposition the cameras remotely, which is super convenient. There’s a two-way speaker feature, but in our house, it’s easier to just holler since we’re not far apart, though I can see it being handy for soothing a baby from bed. The system is self-contained and doesn’t rely on Wi-Fi, which is great because it doesn’t strain our network, but it also means you can’t check in while you’re away from home. For us, that’s not an issue, and I actually prefer it this way. It’s a fantastic system that we’ve already used a lot. Highly recommended
