Works right out of the box!
Tried the vtech from best buy twice with no luck.The Levana is the go to.Battery doesn’t last long, but o well you can recharge or leave plugged in.Audio volume does need improvement.

Finally what we have been looking for!
We have had several monitors over the years. We finally found one that is perfect! Great range and coverage! We love the voice activation feature so we can have the sound pick up from both kids rooms. This helps especially when you have sick kids. Don’t hesitate. Order this set from Levana! We wish we did sooner!

Many features you want on a baby monitor and add versatility
The brief version is this baby monitor with two camera is easy to get up and running while containing many interesting features. What make it easy to setup is the camera do not run on your WIFI but their own signal, so no configuration to your network. It also means it will not take your WIFI bandwidth but it also means you can only monitor with the included device. But you will see that does bring some flexibility and benefit plus ensure privacy to as the signals can only be seen the monitor display.Functioning as a baby monitor you get two cameras so you can set different angles, monitor 2 room or twins. The image is clear and the camera also transmit sound which is import as this allow you to turn off the image and sound is always monitored and intensity show on the level meter. You can then turn screen to see what is happening. The camera also monitors room temperature which is also great to ensure comfort for your kids or useful for other use as well.As for the cameras, they rotate and goes up/down as well so you can monitor all around while controlling at a distance. They are pretty much plug and play and you can set the antenna down to ensure no blind spot or position so it is behind. They can be set on a table or have a standard thread under so you can use tripod or other methods. The weight of them is low so they do not easily tip over. The microphone is on the outside on a small wire to ensure capturing good sound.As for the monitor device, it is about the size of a 6-7” phone but while lighter than one it is thicker. There is an antenna that can be lifter but I found I could get great signal from both camera with one in the basement, the other on 1st floor while I am on the 2nd. Even in a room full of electronic like phone, tablet, Bluetooth device and computers the signal was clear and consistent. There is also a flappable foot to keep it upright. Operation is from the line of button on the right side with power to turn on/off while holding for a few seconds to act to turn off screen while still monitoring. One to activate the move function so you can rotate/tilt the camera. Volume adjustment and zoom in/out. The last two button are the menu and the microphone so you can talk to the camera.While in use the monitor level light at the top tells you the sound intensity in the room you are monitoring or combine when watching split screen which you can set to do. Then on the display you will find signal strength, volume level, time, camera mode (normal/night vision), temperature where the camera is, and which camera (1/2) you are looking at if full screen or as indicator in split screen. Battery level is the last icon. Battery last quite long and probably 5x longer if you open display only when there is noises. Of course, you can simply plug to USB-C for constant power if such a source is available most of the time. The battery allows you the ability to bring the monitor around the house when not in one location. With that basic setup you have all the info, image and control for the cameras.In the menu you will find some settings like monitor brightness, using Fullscreen or split, repair cameras, then a plethora of settings for temperature F/C, clock, language, reminders, alert volume, turn on/off the led monitor, night vision mode, flip camara image for when installing inverted, support and reset. Then there is other interesting option like setting a low or high temperature alert, voice activation for talking with sensitivity and you can play one of 5 lullabies to the camera, or bird, ocean, or white noise. I found this would be great for monitoring babies for sure although for me it monitors a 3D printer and my dog. But that is what is nice, this is not limited to baby monitoring and if you want something not on your WIFI taking bandwidth, for privacy, or simply like to have a dedicated monitor device that is a great option. The only downside I found is although the camera use USB standard plug for charging the connector on the camera is a round one and using a standard USB-C like on the monitor would have been great. Not sure if this is standard but we got 5 such cable in the box at least so less concern if one is lost or damaged but a standard one would have totally alleviated that issue. The box also came with more power supply than device, but the camera uses 1.5A/5V (7.5w) so any USB power source with at least this much would work.

Quality product, side-by-side viewing
We are very happy with this baby monitor, the video quality is excellent, both with regular and night vision. The build quality of the product is also great, and the battery on the parent unit is very good when you use the auto wakeup function. The viewing angle of each camera is quite wide, so we could have almost gotten away with one camera – we have twins that sleep in the same room.The power cables that come with the cameras are a little short, we were able to make them work but it would be nice to have an extra foot or so as we have them mounted up on the wall and facing down towards their cribs. The plastic base that mounts on the wall to hold the cameras is also a bit small and cheap feeling, it holds the cameras but it would be nice if this was more robust and felt more secure.The pan/tilt/zoom function works well and is quiet to operate.Overall very happy with this purchase, it is much better than the VTech one we had before.

This system is excellent! It’s our second from this brand, replacing a much older one which serves us well. I ordered the two camera kit with case, and received one camera and no case. I requested a replacement due to missing parts, got the same thing. Amazon had me contact the seller who then sent me what was missing, making it right, so while something may be screwy in the order fulfillment, they did make it right, so good on them for that!The camera is clear, moves silently, has great features, tells you the temperature, activates by voice, has night mode or color, and you can have two on screen at a time (and adding a second camera to an existing system is super easy! My only complaint is it has a very limited downward tilt. So if you have, say, a shelf near the crib, it can’t look far enough down to see into the crib. It looks down about 30 degrees. Best bet is wall mounting it directly above or next to the crib (it even comes with the hardware for that), but then safely routing wires is tricky.Overall, I still recommend it. You can figure out placement easily enough, it is a great system!
