Nicely Designed With Baby In Mind
When my granddaughter ran into the room with a look of horror upon her face, I knew that something was up. Sure enough, she said the words that grandparents really donât want to hear when babysitting, âBaby had an explosion in her sleeping bag, Grandpa!â After the laborious cleanup and subsequent washing of babyâs clothing and sleep sack, my wife and I decided that it was silly not to have a back up on hand. It didnât take us long to find and order this.Knowing what features that we like in babyâs present sack made it easier to know what to look for in a new one. Chief among these was the fact that the liner is100% cotton, a soft, always reliable fabric that is easy on a babyâs skin (the fill is polyester). The two way zipper was a must, anything that makes nighttime diaper changes easier is a bonus! Knowing how much our new granddaughter loves to move her arms about and play with her hands, we were also looking for a sleeveless garment. The TOG rating of 2.5 should work well, particularly in my daughterâs house where the heat is often turned down at night and the baby will be spending a fair bit of time in a coolish sun porch.My wife and I both really appreciate the construction and design choices that are evident in this sleep sack! The interior lining is quilted in a 2â box pattern and all seams feature heavy overlock stitching. The babyâs delicate skin is protected from the zipper by a one inch wide panel which runs the length of the sack on the inside. The zipper pull wonât rub against the babyâs neck since it also has a protective cover. The exterior fabric is a soft brushed material that I assume, from its mention on the product page, is âmilk silkâ; a polyester (98%)/spandex (2%) blend that has a nice sheen and a silky feel. The sun, moon and stars pattern is simple yet classy; the subdued blue grey colour gives it a very modern feel.The sleep sack arrives vacuum packed in a small package and is, as a result, quite wrinkled. The garment is machine washable on gentle cycle (up to 30°); it should be line dried, something which can be a bit of an inconvenience for busy parents.This sleep sack is well designed for babyâs comfort and safety. It features quality construction, great materials, and nice aesthetics. Best of all, with a back up sack, we are now prepared for our next explosive disaster! Highly recommended.
Super soft and cozy
This sleep sack is amazing, it’s really soft and comfortable, and the material it’s made out of is good quality and doesn’t feel like it’ll wear down anytime soon. There’s zipper on both the top and bottom so it’s really easy when you need to just change out the diapers. Has a decent amount of thickness to it as well.
Nice sleep sack
I really do like this sleep sack for my newborn. I do feel like this is closer to 1 to 3 months even though it is the smallest size. It is a little large on my son and heâs about 9 pounds. So I think this is perfect for a 1 to 3 month old child. Itâs quilted but itâs not overly thick which is nice because I donât have to worry about him over heating. Itâs washed really well, I havenât had any issues with toy shrinking. I love that it has the zipper on the bottom so you can do diaper changes without removing the entire sleep sack. Overall a good product for a baby especially if your baby prefers sleep sacks over swaddles. Great to keep them warm with just a sleeper underneath.
Great Quality, But Size Up for Comfort
First thing this first, I regret getting the small size and should have opted for the medium. The small is too tight, especially around the sleeve hole, which doesnât accommodate a baby older than 2 months comfortably. Itâs definitely better to size up if you want more room for growth.The sleep sack features a two-way zipper, making nighttime diaper changes a breeze by allowing you to unzip from the top or bottom without removing the entire sack. The material is incredibly soft, providing unmatched comfort, and itâs perfect for layering on cool nights. With a zipper guard at the chin, your baby wonât have to deal with any discomfort from rubbing against the zipper. The sleeveless design is ideal for fall and winter use, offering a snug and warm fit that keeps your baby cozy throughout the night. Itâs durable, holds up well after washing, and gives plenty of room for your baby to kick and stretch. Plus, the cute pattern adds a charming touch.
Soft and Cozy!
This baby sleep sack is wonderful! Itâs soft, warm, and keeps my baby comfortable all night. I love that itâs safer than loose blankets and keeps my little one cozy throughout the night. The only reason Iâm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the fabric could be a bit thicker for colder months, but itâs still a great product.

It got this for my 4 month old grandson. I ordered the 0-6 months and it fits well. This is a blanket sleeper sack so it is warm and no blanket required. It’s super soft and great quality. I ordered a second one for wash time. It was also affordable.

This review is for Lictin Baby Sleeping Bag 2.5 TOG, Unisex Winter Baby Sleep Sacks, Sleeveless Swaddle Wearable Blanket with 2-Way Zipper. Had to do a little research before ordering this and I learned that TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and is a measurement used to indicate how warm a garment is. Many baby sleepers are 1.0 TOG, which is best for room temperature 68-75 degrees. I was looking for a winter sleeper as we keep our house cool in winter and 2.5 TOG is best for room temperature of 61-68 degrees, which is just about right for us. The sleep sack came vacuum packed into a small, solid brick, but, when I cut it out, it expanded well and had no odor. I will wash and dry it to plump it up a little more and I think it will be just perfect on these colder nights. My only negative (not worth losing a star) is that it is not packaged in a pretty box and the design is not that pretty to me. I don’t think it would make a nice gift, but I do think it will keep the baby warm, which is what we need.
On the 0 -6 month size this was very large!That said this is a wonderful bag, very soft on the skin and well made, thick and warm for the little ones.Having a dual action zipper is great, you can unzip- from top or bottom!Nice sleep sack that we are saving for when the ;little gut gets a bit bigger
We love this sleep sack, our little one has finally mastered rolling from front to back and it allows her to move freely. The 2.5 TOG is great for the cold nights when the temperatures drop. Baby is sound asleep even when the temperature dips. Great investment and will be buying more.
