We recently removed the side of the crib so that our kid could get in and out safely as opposed to climbing over the railing. He kept falling out of bed so I was looking for a solution and this bed rail worked out perfectly! It does take up some extra space in his crib but he loves it because he said it keeps him cozy. We tried a solid bed rail with his older sibling, but the solid bed rail broke in no time and cost a lot more. This is an excellent product with good versatility and excellent value since you get 2 and not just one. We can move this over to a big bed once he upgrades, and I know we’ll get great use out of it. Highly recommended.

So the above mentioned noise can act as an alarm that the kid is restless during the night.I wished they were covered in that material used for the grippy strips as it would have made the rails less prone to moving around and might have reduced the noise they make.
