Bought this for a vacation to Mexico. It needs to be just a little longer to completely block out light for most mini cribs and pack and plays. Otherwise, it offers good light blocking and the top zipper compartment is handy if you have a kiddo who needs complete darkness to sleep. The cover attaches with fabric ties, which are fairly easy to secure and remove.
My daughter was TERRIFIED when I put her in this. Iâve never made her cry it out but it was our absolute last resort as we were sharing a one room hotel and Iâm a stickler for nap and bedtime (she has fomo and would never fall asleep if she could see us through her playpen).Pros: it fit her 4moms playard well and it was easy to set up. It blocks out light and, for a child without FOMO and a hatred of naps, seems it is the perfect little den for sleeping.Con: it gets EXTREMELY hot inside when zipped, I was so worried that my baby would overheat while inside, even with the little side window unzipped. I ended up waiting until my daughter fell asleep and would unzip the top to allow airflow.Overall itâs pretty good and I will use for my next baby starting at a younger age so maybe itâs not so shocking and scary. I just wish there was a solution for the heat being trapped inside when zipped.
These fit perfectly on our pack n plays and my twins slept just like they do at home with their blackout curtains. You do need to make sure you tie down all 6 points, otherwise when they stand up they can create a gap, but as long as you secure the middle too, itâs not an issue. Itâs as simple as tying them into the legs and then just zipping! Quick set up and good quality. Stretchy and the mesh window makes them very breathable.
